Jacob Elordi booked a £60,000-a-night Claridge's penthouse suite 'where you can see the stars' to impress his girlfriend Kendall Jenner while he was staying in London this week.

The actor, 29, flew into the UK capital earlier this week to enjoy a few days here ahead of The Dog Stars movie premiere held on Thursday night.

And model Kendall, who he has been romantically linked to for around five months, joined him on the trip where they lived a life of luxury. 

The pair were seen dining at swanky Italian restaurant Cipriani with his father John on Wednesday night.

And then headed back to Claridge's where they stayed at the exclusive Mayfair Penthouse suite which costs approximately £60,000 a night ahead of the premiere the next day. 

The room spans an enormous 11,840 square feet and includes a massive private rooftop terrace with a nine-meter heated swimming pool, 24-hour dedicated butler service and a private gym. 

A source told The Sun: 'Jacob's a proper romantic and he wanted Kendall to have that amazing view over London where you can see the stars.

'It costs £60,000 a night to stay there. But upgrading was worth the money.'

A representative for Jacob has been contacted by the Daily Mail for comment.

Back in April, the model and actor had been spotted 'making out' at the Coachella Music Festival.

But the relationship was not brand new, as the Daily Mail learned shortly after that the pair had already been dating for more than two months.

'They have been together for a couple of months already, and it's going well,' a source told the Daily Mail.

'They were an item as far back as early February, so it's been a while. It helps that they have both been in Los Angeles a lot for the past couple of months, it has really given them time to bond.'

The insider also said that Jenner's younger sister Kylie, who is currently dating Timothée Chalamet, had played matchmaker. 

'Kylie was around Jacob a lot during Timothée [Chalamet's] award season marathon because Jacob was nominated for Frankenstein and Timothée was nominated for Marty Supreme.'

The insider continued: 'Kylie liked him and thought he would be good for Kenny so she was like, girl, get on it, date this guy already.'

Some of Jenner and Elordi's earliest dates had taken place at the reality star's home near Beverly Hills, according to the source. 

Back in March, the two stars were spotted mingling while making an appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. 

Later in May, the pair were also seen spending time together during a trip to Hawaii. 

The TV personality was reportedly seen grabbing breakfast with the Wuthering Heights actor in a series of Instagram photos uploaded by gossip site DeuxMoi. 

Fans who allegedly ran into Jenner and Elordi at the family-run establishment Nourish Hanalei said the pair looked 'so cute together'.  

The two stars allegedly stayed at the North Shore Preserve resort located in Kauai, Hawaii and had been seen enjoying a coffee run as well as stopping by a wine shop.

Following the trip, both Jenner and Elordi returned to Los Angeles.

That same month, the couple packed on the PDA as they grabbed dinner in Santa Barbara with friends. 

After stepping outside of a restaurant, Elordi was seen affectionately placing his hand at the back of Jenner's neck as they waited for a car. 

The two stars have whisked themselves away on other fun trips, such as a getaway to Japan this summer.

And over the Fourth of July weekend, Jenner and Elordi had a blast on a boat in Idaho with pals Justin and Hailey Bieber. 

Last month, Jenner traveled to the actor's native country of Australia to 'celebrate his birthday with family and friends'. 

'They're just in that phase where they want to do everything together and things have gotten pretty serious,' a source told Page Six at the time. 

A separate insider also told the Daily Mail that Elordi enjoys spending time with Jenner and her celebrity friends. 

'He is thrilled with her social circle, which he has called 'impressive' because it's all heavy hitters. It's one big name after another. Jacob is starstruck for sure.' 

After spending time in Australia, Jenner and Elordi were seen at Brisbane Airport.

However, the pair were mocked for their 'ridiculous and over the top' attempt to keep a low profile. 

The stars both donned face masks as well as hoodies and caps to try to go unnoticed while strolling through the crowded airport. 

Fans jumped to Instagram to share their thoughts as one penned, 'You are actors, get over yourself.' 

Another wrote, 'Jacob and Kendall taking themselves wayyyyyy too seriously,' while a social media user typed, 'Gee they look so inconspicuous'.
