Jacob Elordi reveals he broke both of his heels in a bad accident

Jacob Elordi has revealed he broke both of his heels earlier this year. 

Mystery had surrounded an injury the Saltburn star sustained in an accident earlier this year, which forced him to withdraw from serving as a juror at the Cannes Film Festival in May. 

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jacob, 29, explained he suffered the painful breaks after 'jumping off something'.

'I broke both my heels earlier this year. I jumped off something,' he told guest host and his Euphoria co-star Colman Domingo.

He went on to say that he was forced to wear a cast and a moon boot while the filming the episode where his Euphoria character Nate Jacobs had his toe and finger cut in graphic scenes during season three of the hit HBO series.

'I was in a cast and a moon boot at the same time that Nate was getting his digits cut off,' he said.

'So everyone thought it was hilarious to be like, "Oh, method acting!" I was like, "Yeah, I cut my f---ing toe off."'

Jacob was forced to give up his prestigious role at this year's Cannes Film Festival after the incident.

He was expected to attend movie screenings, premieres, press conferences, photocalls and parties at the festival, which was held between May 12 and May 23 in Cannes, France.

Jacob's new girlfriend Kendall Jenner has no doubt helped nurse the actor back to health as their relationship goes from strength to strength.

The American model, 30, recently joined him in Australia, where they celebrated his 29th birthday with family and friends.

It comes as insiders say things are getting 'serious', with Kendall reportedly seeing a future with the Aussie star.

'They're just in that phase where they want to do everything together and things have gotten pretty serious,' a source told Page Six.

Earlier this year, Jacob and Kendall also enjoyed a holiday together in Japan, stopping at the famed restaurant The Seirinkan to chat with some of the employees.

The Tokyo venue is a highly popular spot that serves Italian food such as Neapolitan-style pizza and pasta as they play hit songs from The Beatles.

They flanked Susumu Kakinuma, who has been called 'the godfather of Tokyo-style pizza' on Instagram.

Just days earlier, they were spotted enjoying noodles at the counter in Udon Shin.

The two have been friends for many years.

One of the first times they were seen together was in late February 2022, in Paris.

Then they both attended the same Bottega Veneta spring/summer fashion show in September 2024.

They were next pictured at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March.

The two were photographed standing face-to-face during an intimate conversation.

But they weren't linked romantically until they were seen kissing at Justin Bieber's Coachella afterparty.

More recently, the pair have been seen together in Hawaii as well as in Montecito, in California, where Kendall owns a $23 million equestrian estate.
