Jennifer Aniston proves she and hypnotherapist boyfriend Jim Curtis are still going strong after rumors of 'tension' in romance

Jennifer Aniston proved she and her boyfriend Jim Curtis are still going strong as she gave fans a rare glimpse at their romance on Wednesday.

The Friends star, 57, has been dating the hunky hypnotherapist, 50, since 2025 and they celebrated their one-year anniversary sometime in May.

However, the couple have faced unsubstantiated rumors of 'tension' in their relationship in recent weeks after Aniston made rare mention of her ex-husband Brad Pitt in an interview.

But the couple looked as smitten as ever with one another in photos shared by Aniston with her 44.7 million Instagram followers.

The slideshow, which has since amassed over 100,000 'likes,' began with a selfie Aniston captured of herself and Curtis in their car.

She could be seen sitting in the passenger's seat with her lips puckered for the cameras as a smiling Curtis prepared to get into the driver's seat.

Another photo showed the couple enjoying a golf cart ride with their pals, with Aniston seated in the front and Curtis seated in the back. 

She also captured a sweet moment between Curtis and her beloved Schnauzer mix Clyde as they worked out together in her home gym.

Aniston's Instagram post, which she referred to as a 'summer dumper,' also included photos of her hanging out with her gal pals, filming the latest season of The Morning Show as well as spending time at her Los Angeles home with her three rescue dogs.

The post comes nearly a month after wild reports surfaced that there was 'tension in Aniston's relationship with Curtis.

CloserOnline claimed that Aniston's recent nod to ex Pitt in a joint Variety interview with her fellow Friends alum Lisa Kudrow last month was the cause.

Aniston, who played Rachel Greene alongside Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay on the iconic sitcom from 1994-2004, lauded Pitt, as the co-stars reflected on the show's best guest stars.

Pitt made a memorable appearance in 2002's season eight as Monica (Courteney Cox) and Ross' (David Schwimmer) former high school friend Will Colbert, who hated Rachel. At the time he and Aniston were still married.

Aniston asked Kudrow: 'Did you like the Thanksgiving episodes? Those were fun.

The Comeback star Kudrow responded, 'Yes. Those were great, the Thanksgiving episodes. When Brad was on, that was hilarious' with Aniston saying, 'I know. How funny. The movie stars that came on Friends. Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini. 

'We had so many - Sean Penn. They were always nervous. Remember? I always found it fascinating how nervous they were.

Kudrow responded, 'Yes. Nervous. Well, because what's the tone? It's not theater; it's for TV. It's not a movie. What the hell is this? 

'And it's a good question. And I remember someone asked one time. I didn't know how to explain it, so I said, "Oh, just talk louder. Same intention, just -"

Aniston and Pitt had one of Hollywood's hottest romances which sparked up in 1998. 

They married in a lavish Malibu ceremony in 2000. However they announced their split in January 2005.

Pitt and his now-ex-wife Angelina Jolie were first linked in 2005, when they worked together on the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and confirmed their relationship shortly after Pitt's divorce from Aniston was finalized.  

'It's been a surprising source of tension because Jen sees it as healthy and mature, while Jim thinks some relationships are better left in the past,' a source claimed to Closer Online on June 18 of Aniston's Pitt mention.

'He insists he's not jealous but, let's face it, if anyone could make a man jealous it would be Brad Pitt.'

The Daily Mail has reached out to Aniston's representatives for comment regarding the outlet's claims but has yet to hear back. 

Aniston and Curtis celebrated their one-year dating anniversary in May, with a source revealing exclusively to the Daily Mail what the couple did to mark the milestone.

The insider shared at the time that Aniston and Curtis planned to vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico after she finished filming season five of The Morning Show.

'They want to have some fun in the sun and toast a year of bliss in her favorite place in the world, Cabo,' the source revealed.

'She is head over heels for this guy and wants him to be her forever person, so it's fitting they take a romantic break to appreciate one another.' 

The Daily Mail's insider also provided insight on how Curtis has fit into Aniston's A-list friend group, which includes Sandra Bullock, Adam Sandler, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes.

'Jim fits right in with the crowd, they think he is a cool guy, which is very relaxing for Jen. She doesn't have to sell Jim, everyone is sold on him!

'Dinner parties, movie nights, premieres, they are easy breezy for Jen when Jim is by her side because he is so likable.'

Aniston is also reportedly so fond of her boyfriend because there is no competition between them - unlike her exes Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and Justin Theroux.

'It is all about her and how she feels and what she needs,' said the source. 'He never talks about his career or tries to network with her contacts, he has no interest in being an actor or being famous.

'She has said with him she can exhale, she can let herself go and breathe because there is no pressure.'

Being that Curtis is a life coach, he has reportedly been a healer for Aniston as well as her friend group.

'Very often Jim gets people to take deep breaths, to focus on the here and now, to appreciate the good things in life, he is like a human peace sign.

'He is the dude everyone gravitates toward at a party,' the insider shared.

Aniston and Curtis started dating in early 2025 and were first spotted together in public in July, on vacation with friends in Mallorca, Spain.

They made their first official public appearance at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills on November 17, 2025.

They went Instagram official when she shared a photo of them together on Instagram around November 2, 2025.

Earlier this year, Curtis revealed that he and the Emmy-winner were introduced by mutual friends.

We were just introduced by friends. That's it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat,' he said on the Today show.

'It took a long time, we chatted for a long time and we became close.'
