Katie Holmes' face says it all as actress, 47, clings to boytoy Jason Bard Yarmosky, 39, on red carpet at American Ballet Theatre's Fall Gala

Katie Holmes appeared smitten as she cozied up to her younger boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky at the American Ballet Theatre's Fall Gala on Thursday.

The actress, 47, was joined by her 39-year-old beau at the Angels and Demons Honoring Cynthia Erivo event held at the David H. Koch Theatre in New York City.

The couple, who began dating over the summer, seemingly couldn't keep their hands off of each other as they posed together on the red carpet.

Holmes and Yarmosky walked with their hands intertwined and kept sneaking glances at each other between shots.

For the special occasion, the Dawson's Creek alum wore a silky, deep teal gown with long sleeves and a drop-hem, waterfall-inspired pleated skirt. 

She looked radiant as she flaunted her wrinkle-free visage in dewy makeup paired with a bronze smoky shimmer that highlighted her hazel eyes.

Her dark brunette hair was styled in a chic updo to reveal a pair of dainty earrings.

To highlight her elegant dress, she carried a classic black shoulder bag as a clutch purse. 

Her artist beau wore a navy, double-breasted blazer paired with baggy, matching slacks and a chocolate brown pullover.   

The pair went public their romance in June.

This is Holmes's first public relationship since she dated the bass player Bobby Wooten III in 2022.

They were ultimately together for less than a year before splitting.

Prior to that, Holmes dated fellow actor Jamie Foxx for six years following the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise, with whom she shares 20-year-old daughter Suri.

In recent months, Holmes and Yarmosky have enjoyed two getaways to Lake Como, and they also recently attended New York Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week. 

Earlier this month, actress Jenny McCarthy spoke about her past interactions with Holmes while she was still married to Cruise from 2006 to 2012.

She claimed the actress 'looked like a deer in headlights' during Thursday's episode of her eponymous podcast while joined by guest Ann Gallard Hill, who left the Church of Scientology in 2007. 

McCarthy recalled having a friendship with Holmes and Cruise while dating ex Jim Carrey, and the former couple had notably been guests at their 2006 wedding held in Italy. 

Holmes, who welcomed daughter Suri with the actor earlier that same year, had joined Scientology upon marrying the Oscar-nominated actor. 

But after their divorce in 2012, she left the organization. McCarthy claimed that she had noticed a 'shift' in Holmes following her nuptials. 

'At that time, she looked like a deer in headlights. This was well into the marriage,' she alleged on the episode. 

'During the wedding part, she still seemed like Katie, but into the marriage it seemed there was a shift in her.' 

When the former couple divorced in 2012 following six years of marriage, the actress removed both herself and her daughter from the controversial religion. 

Back in 2016, the Daily Mail revealed that Holmes had feared she would lose Suri to Scientology. 

The final straw to end her marriage to Cruise reportedly occurred when members of the Church of Scientology had moved into the former couple's home.
