Kim Kardashian Reveals Final Texts From Grandma MJ Shannon

Ellen DeGeneres is sending her condolences.

After Kris Jenner's mom Mary Jo "MJ" Shannon died July 16 at age 91, the former talk show host shared a touching tribute to the beloved Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, showing her support for Kris and her family.

"Portia [de Rossi] and I know how much you loved your mother and what a special force she was in your life and your entire family‘s life," Ellen wrote in a July 17 Instagram post alongside a photo of Kris and her late mom. "I can’t imagine the grief that you’re feeling right now. We’re sending you our love. @krisjenner."

And Kris' family expressed that they appreciated Ellen and her wife's heartwarming message to MJ, who was the grandma to Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

After all, both Kourtney, 47, and Khloe, 42, shared their gratitude toward Ellen in the comments section of her post.

"You are the sweetest!!!" Khloe wrote, adding two heart emojis. "You’re such a great friend to my mommy."

Similarly, Kourtney commented, "awww that’s so sweet," also sharing heart emojis.

And Ellen wasn't the only star who shared their love and support for Kris and her family during this difficult time.

The Kardashians star's comments section of her Instagram post, in which she announced the news of MJ's death July 16, was flooded with warm messages from celebrity friends and fans alike.

Kylie's best friend Stassie Karanikolaou wrote, "i’m so sorry i love you so much."

Meanwhile, Selma Blair, who played Kris in 2016's American Crime Story, commented, "May her memory always be a blessing. I love M.J and seeing you always love and care for her is a North Star. And I love you and send condolences."

Celebrity artist Ash K. Holm was also among those who expressed their condolences, writing, "Kris, my heart is with you and your family. I’m so sorry for your loss.. I can’t get you out of my mind. What a blessing it was to know MJ and glam her. Such a beautiful person. Sending you so much love."

In the emotional Instagram tribute to her mother, Kris, 70, called MJ "the heart of our family" who "taught us that family is everything."

"She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments," the reality star continued. "She showed me how to face life’s challenges with resilience and faith.”

"Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us," Kris went on. "Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched."
