Maura Higgins is set for a six-figure payday from her stint on Dancing With The Stars as she continues her US takeover.

The 35-year-old Love Island star built her US fame by hosting an American spin-off of the dating series and finishing as runner-up on The Traitors US.

She'll is now hitting American TV screens once again – while partnered with Strictly judge Shirley Ballas's son Mark.

Maura will earn £93k even if she’s kicked out in the first two weeks, which increases by an additional £7k per week for the third and fourth weeks.

If you make it to week five, there's another £11k on the table and an additional £20k for week six. Weeks eight and nine, earn celebrities an extra £22k a week.

Her imminent role on the show has been marred with controversy as there has been whispers over her pairing being a fix.

After her pairing with Mark was revealed and the star being seen rubbing shoulders with judge Bruno Tonioli on a night out, her co-stars are allegedly not best pleased.

A source revealed: 'Maura’s been rubbing everyone up the wrong way, even before their first spray tans have dried.

'She was desperate to be partnered with Mark, who’s hugely popular, and was dead against Gleb, who’s now out of a job. It’s as if what Maura says goes.'

Maura and Mark already know each other after they both appeared on the US Traitors earlier this year and are now set to embark on a new challenge together.

They told The Sun: 'She’s even made sure to get close to judge Bruno Tonioli and wasted no time posing arm-in-arm with him after a night out.

'It’s not gone unnoticed within the cast that she’s being favoured. It’s as if she’s being set up to win.' The Daily Mail has contacted Maura's representatives for comment.

Their pairing comes after Maura was very vocal about a particular professional dancer she did not want to be partnered with.

She sparked controversy after she said she didn't want to face the Russian professional dancer Gleb Savchenko because she doesn't agree with the 'way he talks about women'.

She said she will be remaining fiercely 'loyal' to her best pal and former DWTS contestant Brooks Nader, who dated Gleb.

Gleb has since responded to Maura explaining he has 'never heard' of the star and insisted he will not 'lose any sleep over the opinion of someone I've never met'.

On top of Dancing With The Stars, Maura is continuing her American TV takeover as she confirmed last week that she's the new host of the U.S version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

She has already appeared on the US version of The Traitors while she also hosted Love Island US: Aftersun.

And just days after she was announced as the host of the Blind Date reboot in the UK, Maura has revealed she's added yet another job to her CV.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Saturday morning, Maura shared several US news articles stating that she will be hosting the show alongside co-host Rob Rausch, 28, who she starred alongside in The Traitors.

Confirming the news, she penned over one of the images: 'Heyyy co host @robert_rausch.'

The programme is set to air on Peacock next year, though it is as yet unclear where it will be filmed.
