Niall Horan reveals he's been forced to postpone his show in Pennsylvania at the last minute after the area was hit by severe weather warnings
Niall Horan has shared he's been forced to postpone his show in Pennsylvania, after the area was hit by severe weather warnings.
The One Direction star, 32, had been due to perform at Hershey Park Stadium with US singer Thomas Rhett on Saturday, but had to postpone the performance at the last minute.
Niall and Thomas shared the update after receiving advice from meteorologists that the area would be hit by thunderstorms.
In a video posted on Instagram, Niall said: 'Hey everyone, it's TR [Thomas Rhett] and I here from Hersheypark Stadium.
'We've been sat with our teams and the promoters and meteorologist all morning since 9am and it feels like there's a lot of severe weather in the area and some bad weather conditions and thunderstorms threatening the show.
'So, we've been kind of forced into a corner and we will have to reschedule a show to tomorrow night.
Niall Horan has shared he's been forced to cancel his show in Pennsylvania , after the area was hit by severe weather warnings
'Obviously something we didn't want to do but we want to stay in town and do the show for you guys, so if you have a ticket, you can come tomorrow and if you can't make the show tomorrow night, you will get a full refund for your ticket.
'We're obviously sad that we have to do this, but this is what we have to do.'
Thomas added: 'We want to give you all the show that we have prepared and we just couldn't guarantee that for tonight.
'So it's a miracle that the venue's available tomorrow, that both me and Niall are here tomorrow, so we will see you guys tomorrow night to rock.'
Hershey Park Stadium also shared a statement confirming the show's postponement, writing: 'SHOW UPDATE: Given the current severe thunderstorm watch for the remainder of the evening, the THOMAS RHETT & NIALL HORAN show tonight has been rescheduled for TOMORROW, July 19, at 6pm for the safety of our guests, the artists and our team members.'
One Direction, who were catapulted to global fame after starring on The X Factor in 2010, announced an indefinite hiatus in January 2016 and have since focused on their solo careers.
Niall recently shared 'there's nearly a jealousy' to watching three-time Grammy Award winner Harry Styles, 32, and bandmate Louis Tomlinson, 34, perform, but it spurs him on to make new music.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, the Dinner Party singer said: 'Watching mates release stuff is fuel to the fire, there's nearly a jealousy to it.

'My solo career has been a nice slow build, which is the idea because the aim is to have a bit of longevity - my favourite artists have had 50-year careers. I love walking the dog around the place but this is what I was born to do.'
Asked whether there would be a One Direction reunion, the Irish star added: 'God knows, I mean look at Harry there, look at Louis, the boys are flying, so God knows but everyone still asks about it, it's exciting.'
Harry has had huge success following going solo after releasing his albums Harry Styles, Fine Line, Harry's House and more recently Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally.
During this time, he has won three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Performance for single Watermelon Sugar.
The As It Was singer is currently on massive global Together Together stadium tour which will see him perform a historic 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium this summer.
Meanwhile Niall released his fourth studio album Dinner Party, on June 5, following the success of his 2023 album The Show.
