NRL star Mitchell Moses and his wife Bri welcome their third child together - after the footballer missed first baby's birth to play a match

Mitchell Moses has welcomed his third child. 

The NRL player and his wife, Bri Gardoni, announced the happy news in an Instagram post on Thursday. 

The Parramatta Eels player, 31, cuddled up with the newborn baby boy in a series of sweet photos. 

'ARCHIE CRUZ MOSES. 26.6.26,' Bri wrote in the caption of the shared Instagram post, revealing her son's name and birthdate. 

'The proudest big sisters and the fullest hearts. We love you baby boy!' she added. 

The couple already have two children together: daughters Aspyn, three, and Blair, one. 

Their daughters were also seen in the images, sweetly meeting their brand new baby brother. 

The comments section was inundated with congratulations from Mitchell's fellow footballers. 

'Congrats fam!' wrote Angus Crichton, while Josh Addo-Carr added a heart emoji. 

Clinton Gutherson also shared a heart emoji, as did Luca Moretti, while Bailey Simonsson penned: 'Congrats guys.'

Mitchell was front and centre for the birth of his son, after missing the birth of his first child in 2022.  

The athlete was busy playing for the Parramatta Eels to help the team aim for their first premiership in 36 years. 

He ended up watching the birth on FaceTime before the match. 

The halfback's partner Bri gave birth to a baby girl but Moses made the huge sacrifice to stay in Townsville for the game.

Before the birth of his first child, Moses said he was feeling 'nervous but excited' about the new arrival.

'We'll play it as we go, we've got all the travel and that,' he told CODE Sports.

'[Bri is] good, she's ready to go. It's very exciting, it's our first one. I'm feeling very good, very nervous but excited.'

Mitchell and Bri married at a lavish wedding ceremony in January 2024, after announcing their engagement in early 2023.
