The breakneck pace of the final arc resulted in limited individual fights, so many characters were sidelined or had such minimal participation that it's difficult to pinpoint their strength by the series' end. Consequently, the strongest characters in Black Clover's final battles aren't merely those who dazzled with their skills but those who played a pivotal role during Judgment Day. Black Clover's most powerful characters weren't necessarily allies. Lucius Zogratis’s ranks included seemingly invincible individuals, resurrected recruits, and some receiving massive power-ups, alongside new players entering the fray, such as the warriors from the Land of the Sun.

15 Jack The Ripper

Jack the Ripper, captain of the Green Mantis, truly enjoyed slicing his opponents apart with his Slash Magic adapted to the foes he faced and cutting to magic itself. Unfortunately, Jack was taken out far too early in Black Clover's final battle, but even on the brink of death, he demonstrated exactly what he was capable of. In his ultimate attack, where he concentrated all his remaining magic and strength, he not only cut through Paladin Morgen's assault but also carved a deep trench across the entire kingdom, destroying multiple Guardian Angels along the way.

The fact that Paladin Morgen stated a direct hit would have been enough to defeat him stands as a testament to Jack's power, especially considering that the combined might of Nacht, Yami, and Ichika struggled significantly to secure a victory. Jack constantly pushed himself beyond his limits, growing stronger the longer the battle lasted. So, had he been in the arc longer, who knows how far Jack might have gone.

14 Fuegoleon Vermillion

Fuegoleon Vermillion is the captain of the Crimson Lion Kings, who possess immense magical firepower, befitting royalty. He was chosen by Salamander and gained the ability to wield fire spirit magic, significantly boosting his power for the final arc of Black Clover. Although he didn't shine quite as brightly as other captains, being overshadowed even by his vice-captain, Mereoleona, Fuegoleon is seen during the final arc defending the kingdom against Lucius Zogratis's forces.

He strives to keep his squad and the citizens safe while also coming to his sister's aid against the Paladin Moris Libardirt. But the most striking thing about Fuegoleon is how he continued to grow, ultimately unlocking the Spirit Dive form with Salamander to intercept Lucius's massive spell alongside his siblings and save the kingdom, demonstrating both his skill and his contributions to the final battle.

13 Damnatio Kira

Damnatio Kira is the chairman of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Parliament, and although he was easily defeated by Lucius, he was transformed into a paladin, becoming one Black Clover's most formidable enemies. As a paladin, Damnatio invaded the Witches' Forest, where he demonstrated his incredible power by nearly annihilating, and bringing to the brink of death, the majority of the Black Bulls members, even when they fought as a team.

Damnatio’s dual magic made him truly formidable. His scale manipulation nullified or weakened his opponents' spells, while the air magic derived from the devil Baal unleashed invisible wind blades to shred defenses and strike multiple targets simultaneously. His calculating and analytical nature also allowed him to fight strategically, enabling him to deduce that the Black Bulls' tactics revolved around Grey and to pinpoint her true location. Despite ultimately being defeated by Asta’s anti-magic, Danmatio was a force to be reckoned with.

12 Noelle Silva

Noelle Silva from the Black Bulls is known to be one of the characters with the most latent potential. While she previously had trouble controlling her mana, she has slowly grown into one of the strongest characters in the series. As part of this, she can also manifest a Valkyrie Dress like her mother, Acier Silva. Not to forget, during the series, Noelle also mastered the Heart Kingdom's magic technique "True Magic."

Previously, Noelle had formed a temporary contract with the Water Spirit Undine to rescue Lolopechka. However, after the Water Spirit returned to the Heart Kingdom, Noelle formed a contract with the Seabed Temple's "Sea God" Leviathan. This not only allowed her to manifest her new Valkyrie Dress "Dragon Form," but also allowed her to tap into Leviathan's powers.

11 Nacht Faust

Nacht Faust is the vice-captain of the Black Bulls, and although he may be inferior to his brother Morgen, he deserves to be counted among the series' powerhouses. In addition to holding contracts with four devils, Nacht's true value lies in his versatility, since he is capable of utilizing Devil Union by combining multiple devils, granting him enhanced offensive capabilities tailored to the specific enemy he faces. Furthermore, he is an excellent strategist, able to keep his adversaires at bay while coordinating his actions with others.

Although Natch's emotions caused him to lose his composure for a moment during the final arc, his enhanced physical strength and speed allowed him to block a lethal attack aimed at Yami, as well as trade blows and execute high-synergic attacks against Paladin Morgen. Even the latter acknowledged he had a great talent for magic. He is on a far higher level than the majority of the Magic Knights in Black Clover, making Nacht more than worthy of taking on the role of Captain of the Black Bulls.

10 Ichika Yami

Ichika Yami is one of the Ryuzen Seven of the Hino Country and the younger sister of Yami Sukehiro. This means that, similar to her brother, she is a descendant of the former Yami Clan and can use Dark Magic. Not to forget, similar to the other Ryuzen Seven, she can also use Zetten to manipulate her Ki.

However, Ichika Yami's abilities don't stop just there, as besides being a master swordsman and possessing enhanced strength and speed, she also has an ability called Dark Cloaked Black Warrior, a transformation that manifests a samurai armor clad in Dark Magic. Using this ability, she can tap into her other strong spells, such as Black Star and Black Crescent Moon.

9 Yosuga Mushogatake

Yosuga Mushogatake is the strongest member of Hino Country's personal guard, the Ryuzen Seven, placing him above Ichika Yami. Although he relinquished the Shogun title to Ryuya Ryudo, the mere fact that he was a candidate, combined with Ryuya sacrificing his powers, makes him the Land of the Sun's greatest yojutsu user. His magic grants him the attribute of iron and the ability to transform his body to repel even the most ferocious attacks.

Furthermore, he possesses top-tier swordsmanship and claims he can cut through anything standing in his path. Although Yosuga didn't play a major role in the final arc of Black Clover, he managed to one-shot kill the Paladin Heath Grice, piercing the impenetrable ice armor he had created, proving his immense power. Yosuga even stopped a Lucius proxy, controlled by his soul magic, by slashing his head.

8 Moris Libardirt

Moris Libardirt was once a Magic Scholar from the Diamond Kingdom who was forced out of the country for his treachery. Soon after he was exiled, Moris started working for the Dark Triad of the Spade Kingdom. During the events of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, Moris became a host of the devil Lucifero and honed dual mana attributes, his own Modification Magic and Lucifero's Gravity Magic.

Unfortunately, after Lucifero was defeated, Moris lost his powers and was left crippled. To his fortune, Lucius Zogratis rescued him and recreated his body. However, not long after, Lucius turned him into one of his Paladins, making him the host to an incarnated and purified devil. The paladin form granted Moris with incredible magic power, a near immortal body, and access to the devil's Earth Magic, again making him a dual mana attribute user.

7 Acier Silva

Acier Silva was once the captain of the Silver Eagle Squad of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights. She possessed such an immense amount of magic power that, despite her Steel Magic having an elemental disadvantage against Fire Magic, she remained undefeated against Mereoleona Vermillion during their countless fights.

Acier, unfortunately, fell victim to Megicula's curse even before the series began. However, the series did bring her back as one of Lucius's Paladins. As a Paladin, Acier became a host to an incarnated and purified devil, giving her Water Magic as well. As a result, Acier became a dual mana attribute user, obtained incredible magic power, and now has a near-immortal body.

6 Morgen Faust

Morgen Faust was once a member of the Grey Deer Squad of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights. Unfortunately, he passed away even before the series began while stopping his twin brother, Nacht Faust, from summoning one of the highest-ranking devils, Lucifugus. To his misfortune, Lucius Zogratis later resurrected him and turned him into a Paladin, hosting the same devil that caused his demise.

As a host to Lucifugus, Morgen was granted incredible magic powers, a near-immortal body, and access to the devil's Dark Magic. Surprisingly, unlike the other Paladins, Morgen's original magic attribute, Light Magic, and the devil's Dark Magic, were highly compatible, making him the strongest Paladin after Lucius Zogratis himself.
