Scantily-clad Britney Spears laments about 'damage' done to her 'heart and soul' during conservatorship as she reveals if she's dating anyone
Britney Spears did some deep reflecting in her latest Instagram post.
On Friday evening, the 44-year-old pop star recorded herself in scanty black lingerie as she posed in her Thousand Oaks mansion.
She wore a black choker necklace, her eyes were lined in black makeup, and her long blonde hair flowed over her chest.
Spears mentioned her 13-year conservatorship, overseen by dad Jamie Spears, as she said, 'I feel like, still to this day, people don't realize the real damage that was done to my heart and soul in the conservatorship.'
Elsewhere in the lengthy caption, the singer revealed she is not dating anyone, two years after her divorce from Sam Asghari, 32.
'I've been single for so long,' she told her nearly 42 million followers.

Spears began her caption by writing, 'I actually miss the way I respected people so much that there was a genuine mystery of acute oneness when we were together, which was sacred.'
The star, who shares sons Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, also wrote: 'I was painfully shy, but I got to be someone different on stage.
'After having kids, though, I think that game was beyond overdone. I felt so silly and embarrassed. I think it's easier when you're younger to go there.'
It comes after earlier this week she slammed her 74-year-old dad in a similarly candid post.
In a caption shared on Thursday, she wrote that at the start of her career she would 'get asthma and start shaking' if she had to meet more than 10 people.
Spears said that later, her father, Jamie, would have her meeting '70 people,' which 'literally hurt' and made her feel 'like a robot.'
She added that she is proud of herself for 'shutting all that down' because 'for too many years it was forced.'
The Toxic singer was famously placed under court-ordered conservatorship in February 2008 after a series of public mental health crises, hospitalizations and intense media scrutiny. The conservatorship came to an end in 2021 after nearly 14 years.

Her father, who was the primary conservator for most of her conservatorship, insisted his control of the star's finances, career and personal liberties was to protect her wellbeing, but his daughter has claimed it was 'abusive.'
Now, free from the constraints of the former legal arrangement, Spears often spends her days filming dance videos inside her home.
She was arrested on March 4 in the Westlake Village neighborhood of California, near her mansion, and later charged with a DUI.
The Kentwood, Louisiana native pleaded guilty at her arraignment and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.
Spears entered the guilty plea via her lawyer, Michael Goldstein, opting not to attend the Ventura County Superior Court arraignment.
The entertainer was ordered to enroll in a three-month alcohol and drug education program, fined $571, and ordered to see a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month.
She's also prohibited from consuming alcohol and drugs, with the exception of prescription medication.
