Taylor Swift shares footage from trip to Travis Kelce's hometown that inspired new love anthem Cleveland... after critics branded the song a 'dud'

Taylor Swift has given fans a glimpse at her personal time with new husband Travis Kelce with the release of a new lyric video for her song Cleveland.

The track is the latest single from the 36-year-old pop star's deluxe album, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.

The lyric video features previously unseen self-recorded footage from Swift and Kelce's leisurely time in his hometown, Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Kelce, 36, grins in multiple shots, as he drives with the singer-songwriter filming from the passenger seat.

Cleveland is one of three tracks that critics have branded 'duds.' 

Released on Friday, early reviews have panned the new music, calling it 'derivative and flat.'

The bulk of the Cleveland lyric video depicted two people roller skating, with one wearing a white dress as Swift sings about her newly minted newlywed status.

However, a source confirmed to Page Six that the frock has no connection to the actual dress Swift wore as she tied the knot with Kelce in July at Madison Square Garden.

Other standout details in the YouTube clip showed the aforementioned white skates decorated with 13 colorful hearts – a reference to the singer's favorite number.

The lyrics 'this is the love of my life' are also etched onto one of the skates.

In other news, Patient Zero has already become Spotify’s most-streamed song by a female artist in a single day this year, the platform revealed ahead of the weekend.

Spotify reported that she also takes the crown for most-streamed female artist in a single day in 2026.

Along with Cleveland and Patient Zero, Encore includes Pink Clouding and Babylon.

And Swifties are awaiting Patient Zero's music video, starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell, which will premiere on Sunday at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.

Fans can also look forward to the star's forthcoming appearance at the Country Music Awards in November.

Earlier this month, Swift announced she will attend the upcoming awards show for the first time in 10 years. 

Her song I Knew It, I Knew You, from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, is nominated for Single of the Year alongside two Ella Langley songs, as well as tracks by Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson.

The hitmaker's fans went wild following the news, with many predicting that the singer would soon release a re-recording of her first album, Debut.

Swift last showed up at the CMAs in 2016, when she presented Garth Brooks with the award for Entertainer of the Year. 

This year's event will take place on November 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, hosted by Lainey Wilson.
