That's awkward! MAFS star set to appear on upcoming season of First Dates - but she's since married someone else

Married At First Sight star Olivia Frazer is set to make an unexpected return to the dating scene on television – despite already being a married woman.

Daily Mail can reveal the former reality TV bride will appear on the upcoming sixth season of Channel Seven's First Dates, which is set to feature a number of familiar faces from the reality television world.

The casting twist is likely to raise eyebrows among viewers, given Olivia, 32, secretly tied the knot with her British fiancé Greg Rutherford earlier this year.

However, the apparent contradiction comes down to timing.

Sources confirm First Dates was casting contestants in August 2023 and filming took place in November – almost one year before Olivia met Greg and began her whirlwind romance.

Olivia won't be the only recognisable face looking for love on the new season of First Dates.

Love Island Australia star Mitchell Hibberd will also feature on the series.

The reality favourite has remained a regular fixture on Australian television and is set to return to screens soon alongside fellow Love Island alum Callum Hole on Travel Guides.

It's currently unclear whether Mitchell found romance during filming, with his current relationship status remaining a mystery.

Meanwhile, Olivia's appearance is sure to provide one of the season's most intriguing talking points, with viewers set to watch her search for love on-screen months before meeting the man she would eventually marry in real life.

Pictured in scenes from the upcoming season, Olivia looked radiant in a powder blue dress with sheer puff sleeves and statement floral earrings as she smiled across the table at her date.

Meanwhile, Mitch looked equally engaged in the conversation, leaning forward with a look of surprise as the pair shared drinks during the romantic dinner.

In February, the former MAFS bride surprised fans when she revealed she had married Greg in an intimate ceremony held in her mother's living room before celebrating with family and friends at their engagement party.

'Before our engagement party we decided to smash out the legal stuff and get married super low key in my mum's living room,' Olivia wrote on Instagram at the time.

'Aussie celebrations may be done so now bring on the big English celebrations in July.'

Since then, Olivia has changed her surname on Instagram to Olivia Rutherford and regularly shares loved-up snaps with her husband.

The blonde beauty first hard-launched their relationship online in October last year, just one month after meeting.

'Skipping straight to the hard launch,' she captioned a photo of the pair kissing and cuddling during a date in the UK, alongside a four-leaf clover emoji.

The romance quickly gathered pace, with Olivia declaring Greg the 'love of my life' just weeks later.

Another social media post appeared to hint the pair met through the dating app Hinge, with Olivia cheekily thanking the platform in a caption accompanying a photo of the couple sharing drinks together.

When approached by Daily Mail, Olivia previously confirmed she and Greg had met at the beginning of September.

Greg, a personal trainer and former footballer, is believed to live in North East England, where Olivia has been based since relocating to the UK in 2023.

Before finding love with Greg, Olivia rose to fame on season nine of Married At First Sight, where she was controversially paired with Jackson Lonie.

The couple split in August 2022 after a highly publicised relationship that continued long after filming wrapped.

She later enjoyed a brief romance with British filmmaker William Mitchell before moving to Scotland for another relationship that ultimately ended after her partner grew distant following her relocation.

First Dates Coming soon to Seven and 7plus.
