The New York Knicks left it all on the court.

As the team won their first NBA championship since 1973 in a nail-biting 94-90 face-off against the San Antonio Spurs June 13, a few of Hollywood’s biggest stars were lucky enough to witness the historic moment IRL.

Coming from all the way across the pond, Prince Harry—sporting a blue polo shirt and baseball cap—was just one celeb who made the trek to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas for an in-person look at history.

After all, Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun were also in attendance as they made the game a romantic date night, rocking Knicks gear while enjoying game 5 of the NBA finals together.

As for the New York-natives in the house?

Knicks superfan Timothée Chalamet—who has attended games all season with and without girlfriend Kylie Jenner by his side—had a courtside view of the legendary win.

For the occasion, the Marty Supreme actor sported a Knicks T-shirt, denim jorts and orange and blue sneakers. While Chalamet sat focused throughout most of the match, his New York roots came out as the Knicks began slowly turning the game in their favor, jumping up and down with excitement as the team scored.

And like any Knicks superfan, the Little Women actor noted how the success of the team trumped all else.

“Way rather this than the Oscars” Chalamet—who has been nominated for four Academy Awards—said after the win in a social media clip shared by ESPN. “Come on, baby! Knicks are champions, baby!”

But the celebrations didn’t stop after the Beautiful Boy star rushed the court with his fellow Knicks lovers. After all, he popped a few bottles of champagne with the team’s top athletes in the locker room.

As he captioned the June 13 clip shared to Instagram, “THEY DID IT.”

And he’s not the only New Yorker jazzed to be celebrating his hometown. After all, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan and Spike Lee were also in attendance for the long-awaited victory.

And as Lee—who has been a season tickets holder for the Knicks since 1985—noted, the win was a long time coming.

“It’s been 53 years. 53 years!” he told ABC 7 NY. "Thank you, Jesus.”

As for how his favorite team pulled off the victory?

“They don’t quit,” he said. “No lead is safe.”

“I’m just thinking about all the Knicks fans in New York,” he added, “and the world.”

Ben Stiller

You could never sever Ben Stiller's tie to the Knicks. In fact, the Severance director said that if he could choose between winning an Oscar or having the team take the championship title, he'd pick the latter.

"I really think, at the end of the day, if I knew that I had the choice, I would give it to the Knicks," he said on New Heights in 2025, "because I knew at least I had the choice in this weird, non-real situation."
