Treasure maps and buried treasure locations in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

Here's where to find every treasure map and its corresponding buried treasure in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Treasure locations in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

Like any proper pirate adventure, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is full of treasure maps. Find such a map, study it carefully, and it will lead to reales (gold) and ship upgrades.

Treasure maps count as "secrets," so if you visit an area with undiscovered secrets, there may be a treasure map among them. If you unlock at least one viewpoint in such a location, the treasure map icon will become visible on the map. Treasure maps are always found on pirate skeletons, so be on the lookout while exploring!

To view your current collection of treasure maps, open the bag in your inventory and go to the "treasure maps" tab. Beware that most treasure maps lead to treasures buried on other islands, so you'll have to do some traveling. The list below shows every treasure we've found so far.

Treasure location #1 — Havana

• Reward: The Queen Anne's figurehead design plan and 3,000 reales

Go to the largest settlement in Dry Tortuga. The Havana treasure map lies at the bottom of the canal in the southeast part of town.

As it happens, the treasure itself is also buried in southern Havana. The treasure is hidden on the beach, just in front of the barbican. Dig between the rocks at the foot of the final tower.

Treasure location #2 — Cape Bonavista

• Reward: 1,500 reales

Cape Bonavista is the starting area, located just west of Havana in the northwest Dry Tortuga region. This treasure map is not obtainable right away. Instead, you'll need to progress through the main story until you can freely sail around on the Jackdaw in the "Now Hiring" quest. Then you can return to Cape Bonavista or fast travel to one of the two viewpoints.

After you reach Cape Bonavista, travel inward toward the center of the island. Climb the cliffs in the southwest, where you'll find the Cape Bonavista treasure map.

Conveniently, the treasure is buried on Cape Bonavista. Go to the beach in the south, turn your back to the water, and explore the area to the left; there's a dripstone cave there. Inside, at the end of the tunnel, you'll find the buried treasure.

Treasure location #3 — Abaco Island map, Salt Lagoon treasure

• Reward: Serpent figurehead design plan and 3,000 reales

Abaco Island is found in the northeastern corner of the map, just north of Nassau. Search the body on the southwest beach to obtain the treasure map.

The treasure is located on a small island called Salt Lagoon, in the northern part of the Gibara region. See the large rock in the northeast corner? Dig on the south side of this rock to find the buried treasure.

Treasure location #4 — Andreas Island map, Abaco Island treasure

• Reward: Earth monster relief and 2,500 reales

Find Andreas Island just southwest of Nassau. The treasure map is on the southwest beach.

The buried treasure is on Abaco Island, north of Nassau. Locate the small shipwreck on the northeast shore (the semi-submerged one, not the big one), then dig in the nearest grassy area.

Treasure map location #5 — Salt Lagoon map, New Bone treasure

• Reward: Maize deity and 2,500 reales

Salt Lagoon is found in the northern part of Gibara. The body with the treasure map is lying on the northeast beach.

The buried treasure awaits at New Bone, a settlement in Serranilla. The buried treasure is on the tiny island in the north, behind the dinghy.

Treasure location #6 — Mariguana Island map, Andreas Island treasure

• Reward: Harpoon strength ultimate plan and 3,000 reales

Mariguana Island is located northeast of Great Inagua. Starting from the dock, walk southwest and enter the cave system. Pass through the small tunnel behind the flowery vines to find the Mariguana Island treasure map.

The treasure is on the tiny island on the south side of Andreas Island, just behind the two palm trees.

Treasure location #7 — Great Inagua map, Nassau treasure

• Reward: Elite sails design plan and 3,000 reales

The Great Inagua treasure map is on the cliffs west of the docks, inside a cave. To reach it, follow a parkour trail that starts at coordinates (813, 444). If you're having a hard time finding it, look for vines with white flowers.

This buried treasure is found in another large town: Nassau. Go to the large mansion at the heart of the island (westernmost viewpoint), then look to the southwest to see an overhanging rock. The buried treasure is beneath this rock.

Treasure location #8 — Tortuga map, Matanzas treasure

• Reward: Mortar storage ultimate plan and 3,000 reales

Tortuga is located in Punto Guarico, which is on the east side of the map. The treasure map is on the northeast beach between the slanted palm tree and the rowboat.

The buried treasure is on Matanzas, the small settlement east of Havana. After arriving, stick to the left to pass the soldiers. When you reach the beach with the rowboat, go right to find a Mayan stele puzzle. See the waterfall to your left? The Matanzas treasure is buried behind it.

Treasure location #9 — Petite Caverne map, Tulum treasure

• Reward: Fire barrel storage ultimate plan and 3,000 reales

This grotto is found in Punto Guarico. Leave your ship in the northeast, then follow the path into the heart of the pirate den, where you'll find some sheds, storage crates, and ships. The treasure map is in the southwest corner, behind the blue chest.

The buried treasure is found on the far west side of the map, in Tulum (Conttoyor region). Go to the southernmost beach and look for the watchtower; the treasure is buried on the south side, before the palm tree.

Treasure location #10 — Île à Vache map, Jiguey treasure

• Reward: Baroque guitar and 2,500 reales

Île à Vache is a small island in the southeast. Its treasure map is placed between the rocks on the northeast shore.

The treasure is buried in Jiguey, a small pirate settlement in Gibara. Enter from the north and follow the tunnel until you reach the pirates. At the end of the large chamber, you'll find the treasure buried in the sand, next to a wrecked dinghy and a palm tree.

Treasure location #11 — Cumberland Bay map, Pinos Isle treasure

• Reward: Ivory wheel design plan and 3,000 reales

Go to Cumberland Bay in Punto Guarico and go to the south side of the main island. The corpse with the treasure map is on the small sandbank, near the rowboat.

The treasure is on Pinos Isle in the Castillo de Jagua region. It's buried directly northeast of the great Mayan temple with the viewpoint on its roof.

Treasure map location #12 — Pinos Isle map, Cayman Sound treasure

• Reward: 4,000 reales

Pinos Isle is located at the heart of Castillo de Jagua. The map is found in the heavily guarded northern fortress (just east of the viewpoint), so beware of the soldiers! The corpse holding the treasure map is next to a large, broken pillar.

The buried treasure is on Cayman Sound, the island directly south of Pinos Isle. Go to the northeast corner and dig in the small clearing between the palm trees.

Treasure location #13 — Cayman Sound map, Petit Caverne treasure

• Reward: Heavy shot storage ultimate plan and 3,000 reales

Cayman Sound is a small island in the southern part of Castillo de Jagua. The treasure map is on the northwest beach, next to an old crate and barrel.

The treasure is found on Petit Caverne in the east. Leave your ship at the northeast entrance, then follow the path through the pirate den, taking out enemies as you go. Pass through the large cave chamber with the boats inside, take the southwest exit, and you'll see a large dripstone structure ahead. In the small clearing on the right side, you'll find the Petit Caverne treasure.

Treasure location #14 — Misteriosa map, Kingston treasure

• Reward: Gilded hull design plan and 3,000 reales

Go to the Serranilla region in the southwest. The Misteriosa treasure map is on a ledge about halfway up the large Mayan temple (south side).

The treasure is on a beach in the southeast corner of Kingston. It's buried behind the broken dinghy, before the two barrels.
