TV presenter Sophie Walsh and cricket star Moises Henriques welcome their first child

TV presenter Sophie Walsh and her Sydney Sixers cricketer partner Moises Henriques have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.

The 40-year-old Nine News veteran and her sporting star husband, 39, recently shared the exciting news on social media, in a gallery of sweet baby photos.

One precious picture showed the proud parents happily posing with their newborn, and another captured the baby resting peacefully on Sophie's legs.

Sophie captioned the gallery with some heartfelt words: 'Clementine "Minty" Ana Henriques. Born 26/09/26. The sweetest girl we've ever known @mozzie21.'

Many of Sophie's Channel Nine friends took to the comments section to offer their well wishes.

'Congrats beauty!! Welcome, gorgeous Minty. Best thing in the world,' wrote former Today show co-host - and new mum - Sarah Abo.

'Wonderful news, Soph! So happy to see you with your darling girl in your arms. Minty is a beauty!' Sylvia Jeffreys added.

'She's just perfect! Could not be happier for you Sophie. I adore the name Clementine!!!' Georgie Gardner chipped in.

Sophie and Moises went public with their relationship in 2024.

At the time, Sophie posted a photo of the couple from Taylor Swift's blockbuster concert at Accor Stadium in Sydney.

The Today host had previously shared a shot of the couple, suggesting the pair were seeing each other.

Moises is a well-loved cricketer, who has represented Australia in all three formats of the game.

The all-rounder has a six-year-old son, Archie, from his former marriage with ex Krista Thomas.

Moises and Thomas tied the knot in 2018 with a stunning wedding in Cairns.
