Best Solgaleo ex deck list – Pokémon TCG Pocket
Solgaleo ex is probably one of the best cards to come to Pokémon TCG Pocket in a while, even if it has a glaring weakness, with trainers eager to create a deck around it and other Celestial Guardian cards to have some run climbing the new ranked ladder. The main issue that stems from Solgaleo ex and even Lunala ex decks is that it needs to evolve from Cosmog to Solgaleo ex for it to be a threat, and getting the cards you need to pull it off is tricky at best. Still, we think we have come up with a cool deck list to run, but we might change some parts in the future as we continue to test. With Dialga ex setting up your backline, you can switch between both Solgaleo ex and Dialga ex to maximize damage thanks to their abilities. It's a pretty powerful combo, but its reliance on drawing the right cards and making sure you get a Solgaleo ex out as fast as possible means that not every game is going to go the way you want it to. Its reliance on ex cards also makes it weak to Oricorio's Electric-type form from Celestial Guardians, which stops any ex Pokémon from dealing damage to it. I put one of them in the deck myself for additional stall against other ex heavy decks, but this card is going to be a problem, and Cosmog alone won't be able to deal with it, so something else ideally needs to get added to the deck to overcome Oricorio, or at least force it from the Active Spot by using a Sabrina and Cyrus, for example. The deck would also use some Tool cards, maybe a single Giant Cape to keep some of the Pokémon alive for longer, which I feel I'd substitute the Potion for, but there are a lot of ways to make the deck work, for sure. Potion, Red, and even Oricorio are all cards I'm not quite set on, so I'd love to hear what you created in the comments down below, to help me improve on the deck based on your own opinions. It definitely feels like it is missing something right now, but I feel the core is solid and can be interchangeable depending on your playstyle.
