Capcom Brings Its First U.S. Pop-Up Shop to Los Angeles Next Week

West Coast gamers are about to get a tantalizing taste of the kind of cool video-game merch that's usually limited to Japan. Beginning Saturday, Sept. 19, Capcom will host a pop-up shop at Little Akihabara in Los Angleles' Little Tokyo neighborhood. The shop will feature exclusive goods spanning Capcom's iconic game franchises for a limited time. The store will be open for just one month, closing its doors on Oct. 18.

The Los Angeles pop-up is a temporary satellite of Capcom's official retail store, which is located in the PARCO department store in Tokyo's Shibuya district. It sells plushies, charms, shirts, and more merch featuring franchises like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, and Mega Man. Here's a look at a few of the exclusive items you can pick up at the L.A. pop-up starting next week.

If you're able to get to Little Tokyo around opening day, the store will host playable demos of Mega Man: Dual Override on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20. Expect a wait if you're eager to get your hands on the Blue Bomber's latest adventure. In a press release, Capcom notes that "participation will be extremely limited throughout opening weekend." The first 50 visitors to the store on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20 will receive a limited-edition Tokyo Game Show handkerchief featuring popular Capcom games.

Speaking of Tokyo Game Show, Asia's biggest gaming event will run from Sept. 17 until Sept. 21 this year, marking its first-ever five-day run to honor the show's 30th anniversary. Ahead of the event, the Capcom Spotlight TGS 2026 will take place on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. ET. Fans can expect updates on the following games: Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance DLC, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, Pragmata, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Street Fighter 6. While it's with a heavy heart that we note Ace Attorney 7 is not on that list, we are very, very open to being surprised. (After all, the series celebrates its 25th anniversary next month.)
