Casual Karl Stefanovic steps out in Ugg boots as his wife Jasmine slips into tight activewear while running errands after she has a spray at a magazine for 'lies' about their recent Europe trip

Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine are settling back into Sydney life after spending several weeks overseas enjoying a European summer.

The couple were spotted running errands over the weekend, rugging up in the cold weather.

Karl, who has swapped his suits for more casual attire after leaving the Today show in June, even wore a pair of cosy Ugg boots as he stepped out of his HiLux ute to grab a cup of coffee on Saturday morning.

He showed off his Euro tan by pairing the slippers with shorts, a hoodie and a cap.

Meanwhile, Jasmine flaunted her slender figure in tight activewear under a puffer jacket as she ventured out on Sunday.

The mother-of-one showed off her natural beauty by going makeup-free as she made her way around town in her luxury SUV. 

While Karl’s wife usually keeps her life private, she took a moment last week to take a savage swipe at a magazine that falsely claimed Karl took a 40-day Europe trip without her and that she was 'fed up' with her husband.

Jasmine shared the article on Instagram where she slammed it as 'fake news'.

She went on to say the report, which claimed Karl left her behind while he went overseas for more than a month, was completely made up.

Jasmine shared an image of the 'fake' headline, which read: '"Fed up": Jasmine Stefanovic's ultimatum to Karl after 40-day separation.'

'FAKE NEWS!' Jasmine captioned the post, adding: 'I was with him in Europe but thanks for the story time.

'Such a joke of a magazine. Surely everyone knows your magazine is full of s***. When are you going to shut up shop?

'It would benefit all of us to not have to read lies and fictional stories,' she continued.

Karl and Jasmine spent weeks in Europe following his sensational departure the Today show and Nine after his controversial podcast interview with British far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

The couple are now back home in Australia, with Karl spotted touching back down in Sydney last month following a trip to Melbourne to interview Adrian Portelli and Mick Gatto.

He appeared to be in good spirits as he was seen departing from the airport while carrying an open notebook in hand.

After Karl's controversial interview with Robinson in London ended his career at Channel Nine, he went on to enjoy some family time with Jasmine and their daughter, Harper, six, on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

Last Thursday, Jasmine, 42, shared a gallery of photos which showed her cuddling up to her husband and enjoying what appeared to be a fun-filled getaway.

The couple also spent time with friends, taking several scenic and group photos, including one of Jasmine on a boat with Alexandra Somers and Jimilla Houghton.

Another picture saw Karl on the beach sporting a wide smile as he applauded something off-camera while Harper sat on his shoulders.

Jasmine also took a photo of herself and Karl lounging on beach chairs side-by-side as they enjoyed the sunny day.

The group later enjoyed a stroll through Praiano, stopping for a sunset dinner to celebrate Jimilla's birthday.
