Final Fantasy 10 Returns November 2026 In Memories Of Life Collection

First released back in 2001 as the tenth main installment in Square Enix's Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy X welcomed the first entry to feature fully three-dimensional areas and voice acting, making it stand out in the history of the series. Set in Spira, the story follows a group of adventurers who are led by Tidus, a star athlete who finds himself in Spira after a rampaging monster known as Sin destroys his hometown. However, after teaming up with the summoner Yuna, Tidus discovers that there is more to Sin, and he is actually his missing father.

Praised for its improved gameplay, features, and inclusion of voice acting, Final Fantasy X is now considered as one of the greatest video games of all time, and in 2013, a remastered version titled Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster launched across multiple platforms. Not only that, but it was back in July of this year that the remaster finally arrived on the Nintendo Switch 2, over two decades on from its initial launch.

However, that is not the end when it comes to Final Fantasy X-related announcements, as another exciting release is set to arrive this November which hardcore fans will not want to miss out on.

The Memories of Life Booster Set is an official expansion pack for the Final Fantasy TCG. Available to check out on the official Square Enix website, this pack includes 118 Standard Cards and 167 types of Premium Cards "of which there are 130 premium versions of standard cards, 35 full-art premium cards, 1 Noir card & 1 Special card)".

Set to launch on 13 November, the Memories of Life Booster Set celebrates "the 30th installment in the Opus series and is a commemorative set celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series, which was released in October 2016." As a result, customers can expect all 12-starter exclusive cards from the FFTCG Starter Set: FINAL FANTASY XIV – Heavensward set, that of which is scheduled for an October launch. "Of those, five newly illustrated cards will also be included as full-art premium cards, just like the newly illustrated cards in Memories of Life," the official announcement continues.
