Inside Coleen Rooney's £2.9M engagement ring collection as WAG flaunts fifth gem in her Disney+ show

Given she is married to one of football's biggest stars, it's no surprise that Coleen Rooney has made the most of her husband's bank balance.

The WAG first got engaged to the England star when she was just 17, and understandably he presented her with a stunning ring he designed himself.

But, it seems Coleen has since had multiple upgrades to her ring collection, as since then she has four more diamonds of varying cut and colour.

All of Coleen's rings have an eye-watering price tag, and Brett Afshar, jeweller and founder of Queensmith, has now revealed her collection could amount to nearly £3million.

Most recently, Coleen has been showing off her fifth engagement ring while appearing in her and Wayne's Disney+ show The Real Rooneys.

But how much would Coleen's rings be worth now? 

First engagement emerald – 2003

Having met Coleen when they were at school together, Wayne popped the question when she was just 17, and presented her with a four carat, emerald cut diamond, which she wore for five years.

Wayne has famously revealed that he proposed while they were in a petrol station as he couldn't wait until they reached the Chinese restaurant where he originally planned his grand gesture. 

The England captain designed the ring himself, with Brett saying that now the ring is downright minimal when compared to her later gems.

Describing the diamond as a 'substantial size', he shared that Coleen's first is still not as extravagant as some of her later pieces from Wayne.

The ring reportedly cost £50,000 at the time, with Brett going on to say that the a four carat emerald today would be worth about £90,000.

Birthday Marquise Ring – 2008

When Coleen celebrated her 21st birthday, Wayne gave her a ten carat marquise diamond engagement ring from Chopard. 

The sportsman chose a more glamorous piece than her first engagement ring, with a striking central diamond surrounded by a halo of brilliant white diamonds, all set against a bright white platinum band.

Brett noted that the ring's cut, with an elongated silhouette and distinctive pointed ends, gives the ring an especially dramatic appearance, while the surrounding halo creates additional sparkle and enhances the size and brilliance of the centre stone. 

Wayne reportedly paid £200,000 for the ring at the time, but it's thought that with the changing value of high-quality diamonds and luxury jewellery, its price has changed significantly.

Brett estimated that the ring could be worth approximately £400,000 today.

Yellow Radiant Cut Engagement Ring – 2010

In 2010, Wayne was at the height of his football success, and Coleen appeared to reflect that by upgrading her previous engagement ring for her most eye-catching, and expensive, yet.

The star showed off a rare 12 carat canary yellow diamond, with Brett explaining that such gems with such a strong yellow hue are exceptionally uncommon.

Brett stated this split-band design serves both a practical and aesthetic purpose: it helps provide support for the exceptionally large diamond while giving the ring an even more elaborate and glamorous finish.

The size and rarity of the coloured diamond, and its use of 18-carat yellow gold, make the ring hugely valuable.

Brett estimated that Coleen’s canary yellow diamond ring could be worth a huge £2million today.

Princess-cut diamond – 2018

One of Coleen's most widely-seen pieces she first sported back in 2018, while attending The Randox Health Grand National Festival at Aintree Racecourse.

Princess-cut diamonds are traditionally associated with royalty, devotion, romance and a sense of playfulness.

Coleen's piece appears to be six carats surrounded by a chunky halo of pavé diamonds set into multiple rows.

Due to the size of the diamond, Brett estimated that the ring is worth around £250,000.

Coleen's new engagement ring – 2025 

In the promotional images for her Disney+ series, The Real Rooneys, Coleen has been showing off her new engagement ring, and this one has a much more modern design.

This new ring features a radiant-cut diamond set on a slim yellow-gold pavé band, with a raised cathedral-style setting. 

The radiant cut has regularly appeared in Coleen's pieces, with the use of yellow gold an unusual choice, given these types of rings are normally set in platinum.

Brett estimated that with the stone's size appearing to be four carats, its value would be approximately £90,000 to £100,000.
