Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews gives Andy Burnham a pep talk over PM role and says they're 'in the same boat' - as he cashes in on 'notoriety' with £41 Cameo videos

Lee Andrews has sent a message to potential new prime minister Andy Burnham, in which he encouraged the politician to 'go balls out and break the internet'.

The 41-year-old husband of Katie Price has been capitalising off his self-professed 'notoriety' by signing up to Cameo, a platform that allows fans to buy personalised video messages, with Lee charging £41.74 per video at time of publication.

Lee, who tied the knot with Katie in January just days after meeting, was missing for weeks after he was thrown into a Dubai prison on fraud charges, however re-emerged last week and claimed he had been held at gunpoint over espionage.

Far from wallowing in his legal and criminal woes, the businessman changed his bio on Instagram to: 'Notorious Hubby to @katieprice', while launching his Cameo career - which led him to an unwitting callout to Andy.

Jamie East, host of hit podcast Tales From The Celebrity Trenches, reached out to Lee with the request to send a video to 'his friend Andy', who is tipped to be the next prime minister following Keir Starmer's resignation on Monday.

Following Keir's emotional speech on Monday, Andy is expected to take over within weeks, with Labour flocking to show their support while also receiving the message from Lee

On the latest episode of the podcast, Jamie tells his co-host Alice Brine about buying the Cameo, on which he made his request for Lee to make a video in which he would give an unknowing pep talk to 'his mate Andy, who is moving down to London for a new job'.

In the video, Lee says: 'Hey, Andy, my man. So this is from your mate Jamie. Now he tells me you're a Mancunian. Are you a blue, are you a red? Just make a noise, mate. Just go out here, go balls out, and you'll break the internet for sure.

'That's the both of us. Trust me, I know. I've got a couple of things happening and I've got my wife arriving tomorrow as well. I've got to go and face the music in the UK, so I am bricking it as well, so that's two of us.

'We're in the same yellow submarine, my man. You say hello to someone in London, they look at you like you're an alien. Make a noise so I can hear it over here.'

Following Sir Keir's emotional speech on Monday, Andy is expected to take over within weeks, with Labour flocking to show their support.

Andy, a former Cabinet minister who had served since 2017 as mayor of Greater Manchester, won a by-election last week for a seat in Parliament, with many believing it would lead to him challenging Sir Keir for leadership of the Labour Party and the country.

Away from politics, Lee has set up Cameo to send videos of all varieties, as he has been touting sending the clips - despite his alleged wealth.

The so-called 'billionaire businessman’ spent the last month locked up in Dubai’s notorious Al-Awir prison – but was freed earlier this month.

It's not known how he managed to get his hands on the £140,000 needed to secure his release as his wife Katie has said she would not pay herself.

She has insisted she would be seeking answers to some of the 'lies' Lee has spouted in recent months before ending her marriage.

But it seems Katie and Lee are still very much on, given her recent flight to the UAE. She said: 'I cannot just walk away from my marriage without seeing him again.'

Lee was locked up over a 'private civil matter', believed to be related to allegations of fraud, on May 14, but had previously claimed he was suspected of espionage.

That was not true. He FaceTimed Katie minutes after his release and she was thrilled to hear from her husband but was demanding answers to her questions.

A source said: 'Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid. She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man.

'But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well. For whatever reason, she still loves him and is hugely physically attracted to him,' added her friend.

'But make no bones about it: Lee is a conman and a fraud and there must be consequences to his despicable actions. She must leave this man.'
