Lisa Rinna Reveals What It's Really Like Behind the Scenes at New York Fashion Week

Lisa Rinna knows that it's always whack-a-doodle time at New York Fashion Week.

Or, at least, before the models hit the runway. In fact, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum—who has walked three times, most recently the PRISCAVera show in 2022—shared a glimpse at what it's really like behind the curtain at these fashion shows.

"So much goes into it," Rinna exclusively shared on Live From E! Stream: Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2027 Runway Show Sept. 10. "It's really nerve-wracking back there."

"Everyone's nervous," she continued. "Everything is last minute. It's a rush. It's an adrenaline rush, and it's so fabulous. It's so fun."

Though the reality star—mom to daughters Delilah Belle Hamlin, 28, and Amelia Gray Hamlin, 25, with husband Harry Hamlin—took a seat rather than strutting down the catwalk at the Tommy Hilfiger show, she did share which stars she'd want watching her on the runway in the future.

"Oh gosh, my daughters, my husband," she added, "A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, Madonna, Cher. I mean, why not?"

Rinna—who also closed out the Dennis Basso show in February 2020 with her daughters—will always love being part of Fashion Week as an attendee or model.

"I love fashion," she beamed. "I love the creation. I love the people. I love the moments. I just have so much fricking fun."

It's fitting for the 63-year-old, who has continued pushing the fashion boundaries with her hair, outfits and makeup. So, it helps when she can use wigs to switch up her look.

"It's fantastic," she told E! News in February 2025. "I thought the other day—as an actor, I never can express myself enough because I never get to work enough as an actor. So this has been a way for me to express myself and create all the time. It started to move me to tears because I thought, 'Look what I get to do.'"

She added, "The fashion and the wigs has truly brought joy to my life in a way an expression like I never could do before."
