Ryan Thomas treated daughter Scarlett to an 18th birthday she'll 'never forget' as he gave an insight into the family bash on Instagram on Tuesday.

The actor pulled out all the stops for the teenager as she was lavished with wads of cash and enjoyed champagne at Louis Restaurant in Manchester.

For the family affair, Scarlett dressed to impress as she flashed a black bra beneath a sexy sheer lace bodysuit.

The singer, whose mother is Corrie actress Tina O'Brien, teamed the eye-catching number with a daring black skirt with a hip-high split and a pair of towering stilettos.

The birthday girl was treated to an extravagant bedazzled BuzzBall themed cake with pink icing and Polaroid pictures of herself on top.

However, as Scarlett pulled one of the pictures she was lavished with wads of £20 notes from inside the cake.

The singer sipped on a glass of champagne before posing with step-mum Lucy Mecklenburgh, who cut a stylish figure in a black and grey checked blouse.

Meanwhile Ryan's brothers Adam and Scott joined the celebrations at the Italian American restaurant.

Ryan wrote: 'Happy 18th Angel a night we will never forget.'

Scarlett also shared a series of photos and wrote: 'Octobers all about me coz your turn should’ve been over! 26/10/26 I’m 18 b****essssss we got buzzballs swimming in our tummy.'

It comes after Ryan revealed his daughter Scarlett is releasing her debut single after skipping her GCSEs to pursue a music career.

Scarlett raised eyebrows earlier this year when she announced that she sat out of her exams to follow in the footsteps of her famous parents.

Now, appearing on the latest podcast episode of The Thomas Brothers alongside Adam and Scott, Ryan shared the exciting news that his daughter is releasing her first song Onesie, on Spotify and Apple.

Gushing over Scarlett, he said: 'What's amazing about it, like she's even done her own music video. So the way she's filmed her own music video.

'You think about production and getting a big team in, she's done it all on the phone.'

'Yeah, that's amazing,' Adam said.

Ryan continued: 'She's produced, directed it, brought her friends in, you know, picked out the locations, you know.

'I got her a car to go around Manchester to different locations and she's done it all on the phone and edited it and put it all together herself. I'm like, that's magic.'

Adam said: 'Bearing in mind people she's only 17. Just like if you look back at what we were doing at 17 18 years old and the fact that she's putting all this effort in to what she loves doing.

'And again just the creative input that she's having and she's just making it her own and the fact that she's had her own concert at the age of 17.'

A proud Ryan responded: 'When you speak to her said I've got this to do got that to do and I speak to her manager all the time and she said yeah she's really working hard she get she gets given deadlines for things she has to do like she has a lot of people just think like, you know, you just get up there and sing.

'Like the work that she's put in the background to put all this together herself, like her vision at that age just makes me so proud because there's a time when kids are that age, they're a bit lost.

'They don't know what they're doing. And what's great is she's found this purpose, found something she loves, and now she's getting to show it to people.'

'It's beautiful,' Scott added.

While most young people in England do sit GCSEs, they are not a legal requirement under the Education Act of 1996. Students can choose to pursue other qualifications or leave formal education at 16.

However, not having GCSEs can limit your options later on in terms of further education – such as college or university.

Many employers require a English and Maths at grade 4/C or above when considering potential employees for a job.

But along with Scarlett's acting career going from strength to strength she may be relying on the fact that she never needs traditional employment.

Scarlett beamed with her Uncle Adam and his wife Caroline

She also made sure to get a sweet photo with her grandma Gail, who looked glamorous in a leopard print blouse and a brown skirt

Her first TV appearance was in 2023 with a role in Waterloo Road – one of several shows that made her uncle Adam, a household name.

Reflecting on not receiving any results herself, she said: 'Watching everyone get their GCSE results today wondering if I could've had good results but I will forever wonder.'

She added in the caption with two red heart emojis: 'Well done everyone you all should be beyond proud whatever results you got [sic].'

Fans of the teen actress were shocked to discover that she hadn't sat her milestone GCSEs and many questioned why she chose not to get any qualifications.

Others, however, stressed that school exams do not define a person or their ability to succeed in life.

Viewers wrote: 'Why did u not do them or something?''

'Two years on since mine and they really do not define your future at all. You'll forever wonder but God had a different plan for you xx';

'Proud of you anyways no matter what you are so talented and doing amazing things already you are going to go so far!!'

'it's okay Scarlett, we're all still proud of you with or without grades, they don't define you as a person xx [sic]'

Scarlett, who is also the daughter of Corrie star Tina O'Brien, 43, has previously hit back at those who have criticised her for taking acting opportunities at such a young age.

She wrote: ''You only got those opportunities because of your family.'

'God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets.'

At the time of Scarlett's acting debut, her mum Tina – best known for playing Sarah Platt on Coronation Street alongside her father who is best known for his portrayal of Jason Grimshaw – took to Instagram to express her pride.

She wrote: 'So proud of @scarlettjthomas26, she's worked so hard on Waterloo Road and I've absolutely loved watching her portrayal of Izzy.

'Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she's been nominated for an award.'
