Amal Clooney has another style moment in three-piece white trouser suit as she joins her mother at AI event in Athens

Amal Clooney made a stylish arrival in Athens for a series of cultural and heritage events after accompanying her husband George Clooney to Venice Film Festival.

The human rights lawyer, 48, was attending an AI talk with her mother Baria Alamuddin at the Temple of Olympian Zeus on Thursday.

Fresh from her glitzy display at the film festival, Amal wore another glamorous look for the occasion, arriving in an ivory three-piece trouser suit.

The mother of two wore her long brunette hair in a bouncy blow out and accessorised with oversized square shades and gold jewellery.

She walked beside her equally chic mother, who was wearing a black and white polka dot co-ord with a quilted Chanel bag and shades. 

Before her trip to Greece, Amal was spotted leaving Italy with her husband after attending the 83rd film festival.

In the nearly 30 years since George attended his first Venice Film Festival with the 1998 movie Out Of Sight, he's become something of a fixture.

It's a place where he's enjoyed many significant moments, from his wedding at the Aman Venice to the debut of Good Night, And Good Luck, which earned him his first Oscar nomination for best director.

And this year marked an extra special Venice for the star as he received the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.

George paid tribute to his 'bada*s' lawyer wife in his acceptance speech.

Amal, a British-Lebanese lawyer, has represented Yazidi survivors of ISIS atrocities in Iraq and Syria, and helped secure historic legal victories holding ISIS members accountable for genocide.

'By the way, my wife's the only person to have ever put ISIS on trial and won,' the Hollywood star said. 'She's a bada*s, and she gets the job done. We do it for our families. We do it for our friends.' 

He added: 'Amal's taken some very difficult stands over the years, and we've had to face some pretty heavy criticism based on that. I wrote an op-ed about President Joe Biden. I got some s***.

'We have really interesting conversations around the table. But you know, we also have two nine-year-old kids, and we have a normal family life, and there's a lot of laughing and a lot of love, and we're very lucky, and we're really aware of that.'

On Friday night, George couldn't resist getting behind the camera on the red carpet as he attended the premiere of his film Furies, a Lebanese heist thriller, for which he is an executive producer. 

Early reviews from critics at the festival have praised the drama, calling it riveting and high-action.

Dressed in a navy suit and partially unbuttoned shirt, the actor appeared in high spirits as he posed with the rest of the cast and playfully took photos on a huge camera. 

Earlier in the day, Amal stepped out in yet another sensational look as she wore a £1,190 mesh Stella McCartney dress as she held hands with George.

Stepping off a water taxi amid the star-studded two-week event, Amal accessorised with nude Aquazzura heels and huge dark shades.
