Company bolsters digital asset holdings with focus on Ethereum accumulation

Bitmine disclosed aggregate cryptocurrency assets, cash reserves, marketable securities, and strategic equity positions totaling approximately $11.5 billion as of July 19. The portfolio composition included 5,777,468 ETH priced at $1,879 per token and 207 Bitcoin. The company also maintained $385 million in liquid assets and marketable securities.

Strategic investments comprised a $180 million position in Beast Industries alongside a $58 million holding in Eightco Holdings. These equity stakes complemented the cryptocurrency holdings within the broader investment framework. Bitmine enhanced its financial position through diversified asset allocation beyond digital currencies.

According to company statements, its Ethereum position accounts for approximately 4.8% of the estimated 120.7 million ETH total supply. This concentration establishes Bitmine as the preeminent corporate holder of Ethereum globally. Conversely, Strategy maintains leadership in overall corporate cryptocurrency treasury size through its substantial Bitcoin reserves.

Buyback execution and staking expansion drive corporate development

Bitmine acquired approximately 5.5 million common shares over the preceding week at an average cost of $15.6155 per share. This transaction advanced the previously authorized $4 billion share repurchase program. Simultaneously, the company maintained its Ethereum acquisition activities while allocating capital toward equity buybacks.

Chairman Thomas Lee commented, “We view the purchase of our common shares as accretive to shareholder value.” He further noted the company secured 7,430 ETH during the same period. Ethereum acquisition pace moderated as management prioritized share repurchase allocations.

Bitmine has consistently acquired Ethereum weekly since implementing its Ethereum Treasury Strategy beginning June 30, 2025. The organization sustained its long-range accumulation objectives while simultaneously reducing share count. This dual strategy enhanced both treasury magnitude and capital allocation efficiency.

Institutional staking infrastructure generates yield from Ethereum portfolio

Bitmine disclosed that 4,917,189 ETH currently operates under stake through its MAVAN institutional staking infrastructure. At reported market prices, these staked assets represent approximately $9.2 billion in value. The staked portion comprises roughly 85% of the company’s total Ethereum position.

Management projected annualized staking income of approximately $290 million upon complete deployment of all Ethereum holdings. Current projections indicate annualized staking revenue near $247 million based on a reported seven-day yield of 2.67%. Staking operations complement Bitmine’s comprehensive treasury approach alongside continuous asset acquisition.

Earlier this year, Bitmine launched the Made in American Validator Network, designated as MAVAN, to facilitate institutional-grade Ethereum staking services. The infrastructure initially serviced internal treasury operations before extending capabilities toward custodial partners and institutional participants. Leadership has connected recent United States digital asset regulatory developments with broader financial infrastructure evolution, underscoring the company’s commitment to Ethereum-centric treasury strategy and platform development.
