Eastern suburbs socialite who was slammed for 'classless' video goes on a rant about missing her Hermes and diamonds in London - as her wealthy friend comes under fire for a post about Birkins
Two wealthy Sydney socialites have raised eyebrows over a series of 'out of touch' social media posts in which they openly flaunted their wealth.
Real Housewives of Sydney stars Victoria Montano and Nicole O'Neil both shared posts about their high-end lifestyles and expensive designer accessories.
Over the weekend Victoria, 43, posted a glamorous selfie from London alongside a fiery caption complaining that she was unable to wear her $20,000 worth of jewellery and accessories while travelling.
'Sad again in London. On my way to the airport to Milan with no jewellery. No Hermes in Milan either because Nicole O'Neil told me I can't wear it here in London before I go to Milan,' Victoria vented.
Meanwhile, Nicole, 46, sparked a similar reaction after sharing a clip in which she suggested that there is one luxury item people should invest in - a $20,000 Birkin handbag.
'A Birkin bag is an expensive item that is worth the money. Now, some of you will jump in here and say it is completely unnecessary... and probably it is!' Nicole began.

'But I bought my first Birkin when I was 20, and still use it today. Cost per wear it is probably the best value bag I have bought!'
The unapologetic display of wealth did not go unnoticed, with some followers taking to the comments to accuse Nicole of being 'classless' and 'out of touch'.
'Get a grip on real life! One of the most ridiculous posts I've seen from you, very disappointing,' one person sniped.
Meanwhile, another follower broke down the maths in detail, revealing why they thought luxury Birkin handbags were not a good investment.
'Girl, no. Lost me at Birkin. This could have been really relatable because everything else was 100 spot on, but Birkin, giiiirrrrrrllllll, I just can't,' they began.
'Let's put this into actual numbers. Say that Birkin is $20-30k, and you wear it 3,000 times over 20 years. That's $6.67-$10 per wear. Now take a good-quality, non-branded leather handbag for $800. Same 3,000 wears: 27c per wear.
'Birkins have good resale value, right? So let's be generous and say you buy a $25k Birkin and sell it for $15k after 20 years. Your net cost is $10k, reducing it to $3.33 per wear. That's still 12.5x more expensive per wear than a good quality, non-branded leather bag! This is completely and utterly unrelatable.'
Another person cheekily agreed that Nicole's post was not relatable to the average person: 'It is worth the money to have a touch of reality!'
Meanwhile, Nicole sparked a similar reaction after sharing a clip in which she revealed that one luxury item she simply could not live without was her $20,000 Birkin handbag
The unapologetic displays of wealth did not go unnoticed, with some followers taking to the comments to accuse the pair of being 'classless' and 'out of touch'
This is not the first time that the RHOS stars have been slammed for supposedly being out of touch with their lavish displays of wealth.
In June last year, a social media clip captured Montano, Krissy Marsh, Victoria Rees and Matty Samaei flaunting their lavish - and very expensive - designer outfits.
'Back door fashion, I'm wearing Nookie,' Krissy told fans, as she showcased her plunging cream mini-dress from the label.
'I'm in (Victoria) Beckham and Zadig & Voltaire,' Victoria Rees chimed in while parading around in her fiery red blazer paired with a black shirt and jeans.
Matty Samaei also showcased her designer leopard print dress, but it was Victoria Montano's segment that angered most.
'Dior, Valentino and a Hermès bag! It's called Montano money,' she bragged, as she strutted around in a pair of tiny Daisy Dukes, a bralette underneath a silky shirt and stilettos.
The clip sparked backlash from followers who criticised the socialites in the comments.
Victoria has her own fashion brand called Sports Luxe, while her husband, Tim Odillo Maher, is the Executive Director of debt management firm Fox Symes Debt Solutions.
The couple and their children live in a multi-million dollar Harbourside home in Sydney’s prestigious eastern suburbs.
The leggy brunette's Instagram page is littered with photos of her lavish European vacations, designer outfits, and her weekly trips to a stable just outside Sydney where she keeps her very expensive horses.
The entire cast of RHOS have developed a reputation for their expensive taste.
Last year, Krissy Marsh pulled out all the stops for her husband Johnny to ring in his 59th birthday.
The reality star, who has appeared in all three seasons of the series, shared a slew of pictures and videos of the extravagant three-day celebration, which included margarita towers, caviar bumps and Sydney's Eastern Suburbs elite.
The festival-esque weekend kicked off with boho-themed drinks on Noosa Main Beach, which saw those lucky enough to be invited to the shindig in crochet, fur and linen as they partied the night away.
