Ex-NRL WAG Phoebe Burgess admits she hasn't been on a date in SEVEN years - and says she doesn't even know how dating works anymore: 'Not even a flirting text!'

Phoebe Burgess has admitted she hasn't been on a single date in seven years — and hasn't even had a 'texting flirt' — as she candidly opens up about her post-divorce life.

The content creator, who was married to former NRL star Sam Burgess for almost four years, tells this week's Stellar magazine she was left stunned when a recently divorced friend quickly found a new partner.

It made Phoebe confront just how long she'd been out of the dating game.

'Jesus, seven years without a date,' she admitted.

'Not even a texting flirt!  I need someone to talk me through this. I don't know how it works... It's terrifying.'

Phoebe, who shares children Poppy, nine, and Billy, seven, with Sam, has remained single since their high-profile marriage breakdown in 2019.

And while she previously considered joining the celebrity dating app Raya, she admitted she struggled to see how her current life would translate into an online dating profile.

'My life isn't overly app-attractive. What photo would I pick? The kids and me at school drop-off? Me at an event?' she quipped.

'There's not one photo. I'd judge any man who would click on my profile, put it that way!'

'And then the bio: 37, divorced, everyone knows about it. Uh, two children. I don't get weekends off – ever – so you'll have to work around that. And I live at home. There's nothing appealing in that! I don't think that I fit the apps thing.'

Instead, Phoebe joked that perhaps she will simply have to wait for the right opportunity to come along.

'I guess the other thing is you sit back and wait for all the divorces to start happening, and you just catch one in the wind?' she said.

Her candid comments come as she prepares to step back into the spotlight with a new podcast, (Over) Share, which she is co-hosting with Hannah Ferrier.

On the Stellar cover, Phoebe debuted a dramatic new look.

She embraced her edgy side as she posed for the stylised shoot, draping herself on a chair in a green knit maxi dress with fringed sleeves and a punk-inspired hairstyle.

Giving the camera a coy look, the influencer showcased her extremely slender frame in the figure-hugging number, completing her look with gold jewels.

Meanwhile, Phoebe's ex-husband Sam has recently been in the headlines after announcing his new wife Lucy is pregnant with their third child. 

Lucy announced the news back in July, posting a video of herself surrounded by her family, including former NRL star Sam and their two children, daughter Robbie and son Mack. 

Phoebe and Sam split in October 2019, after four tumultuous years of marriage.

They had initially separated in December 2018 – shortly after the birth of their son, Billy – but reconciled in April, only to end things for good six months later.
