Fans urge Christie Brinkley to 'be careful' as she hits the beach in the Hamptons with daughter amid deadly nor'easter storm

Christie Brinkley was urged by fans to 'be careful' as both she and daughter Alexa ventured to the beach amid the deadly nor'easter storm. 

The 72-year-old model, who recently hit the runway for the first time in seven years, shared a series of snaps to her main Instagram page on Saturday as the pair spent time at the Hamptons. 

Brinkley could be seen sporting a vibrant yellow raincoat as well as a dark blue hat on top of her blonde locks.

The star's daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband and singer Billy Joel, also layered with a gray Rolling Stones hoodie as well as a green jacket. 

The pair flashed big smiles for the lighthearted selfies as a strong wind whipped their hair around. 

The sky was overcast with gray clouds and Brinkley took photos of large waves crashing down nearby.

Other snaps in the Instagram carousel showed Alexa posing near the ocean as raindrops fell down. 

Brinkley and her daughter also shared a sweet embrace as the duo braved the East Coast storm. 

In the caption, the National Lampoon's Vacation actress penned: 'Winter Spring Summer or Nor'easter I'm Always Lovin You my @alexarayjoel.' 

Some social media users jumped to the comment section of the post to warn the pair to stay safe in the harsh weather conditions. 

One fan wrote, 'You guys be careful,' while another typed, 'Y'all are adorable...be safe out there!' 

'Stay safe ladies,' an Instagram user shared, and one added, 'Two beauties...stay safe Ladies... it's not over yet!' 

Daily Mail has reached out to reps of Brinkley for comment, but has yet to hear back. 

A man was killed by a falling tree in New York on Saturday, as millions of Americans endure a powerful nor'easter that officials have said will only get worse throughout the weekend.

The NYPD called the incident the first 'potentially weather-related' death in connection with the rare early-season nor'easter. 

Nor'easters typically form as the seasons transition from fall to winter. 

In a press release, the governor of New York Kathy Hochul called the storm 'dangerous,' adding that it posed a 'significant risk.'

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani warned Big Apple residents on Friday not to travel over the weekend unless necessary.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill said in a video message on Saturday afternoon that a lull in drastic weather does not mean the storm is over. She urged residents to 'stay vigilant' as the nor'easter gained traction.

Later in the day, Hochul said the nor'easter was already 'bearing down' on coastal areas in Long Island, New York City and Westchester County. New York and New Jersey have already declared a state of emergency.

A 15-foot wave was reported at the New York Harbor entrance on Saturday morning. Flooding has ravaged parts of Queens, with some even taking to the streets with kayaks.

As of Saturday evening, almost 108,000 Americans were without power, according to the live tracking site Power Outage.

Despite the weather, Brinkley and her daughter Alexa braved the storm for a day out in the Hamptons. 

The model welcomed Alexa to the world in 1985 with then-husband Billy Joel. The former couple's marriage ended in 1994. 

Brinkley is also mom to son Jack, 31, whom she welcomed with ex Richard Taubman. 

Her youngest child is daughter Sailor, 28, whom the star shares with ex-husband Peter Cook. 

Earlier this month, Brinkley notably returned to the runway for the first time in seven years during New York Fashion Week. 

The model stunned on the catwalk for Dennis Basso's Spring 2027 ready-to-wear show. 

She wore an off-the-shoulder gold dress that clung to her figure and contained fabric that flowed around her as she moved. 

Her blonde locks were parted to the side and effortlessly cascaded down past her shoulders in voluminous waves. 

Brinkley shared a clip as she strutted on the runway to her Instagram account, and could be seen flashing a cheerful smile as onlookers at the show watched.
