Geordie Shore's Gaz Beadle welcomes first child with his nursing graduate girlfriend Maia Ellen as she gives birth to a daughter following 40 hour labour

Gaz Beadle has welcomed his first child with his nursing graduate girlfriend Maia Ellen.

The Geordie Shore star, 38, who already shares two children with his ex Emma McVey, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the happy news as he revealed the pair had welcomed a daughter following a 40 hour labour. 

Sharing sweet snaps from inside the hospital, Gaz beamed in snaps as Maia lay on the bed with the newborn. 

He captioned the snap: 'She's here after 40 hours of what felt like a life time @maiaelx was incredible... there really is no other feeling like it she is perfect... Time to get her home.'

Responding to the happy news, Gaz's fellow Geordie Shore stars Abbie Holborn and Chloe Ferry sent their congratulations. 

Meanwhile Chris Hughes penned: 'Congrats guys, beautiful!' and Dan Osborne added: 'Congratulations mate!'  

Gaz revealed in February that Maia, 24, was pregnant as he shared a clip of her having an ultrasound scan to Instagram. 

Earlier this week the pair joked they were 'trying everything' to bring on labour as Gaz filmed Maia dancing and jumping around. 

He joked: 'POV: You're overdue and have officially reached the "dance this baby out" stage. We've tried everything. 

'Baby girl "absolutely not."' 

After receiving advice and tips from followers, Maia added: 'Thank you all so much for sending your tips and messages! 

'When I say I’ve been trying EVERYTHING for days now and nothing is getting her to budge think it is time to accept she will come when she is ready and none of these things will work until she is.'

The couple revealed they were expecting a daughter in April as Gaz shared a clip from his and Maia's baby shower as the pair stood in front of a giant sign saying 'Baby' before a huge bright pink smoke cannon went off. 

Gaz captioned the video: 'Baby Beadle is..... OH MYYYY GOOOOOD!!!!! GIRL!!!!! Mini @maiaelx - Girl dad era continues.

'Absolutely smashed this display @chaselanefireworkdisplays especially in that wind.'

Gaz went public with Maia in 2024 and has branded her 'inspirational' after she helped him through his split from Emma.

The TV star and Emma are parents to Chester, seven, and Primrose, four, and married in July 2021. 

The couple sadly split two years later.

Announcing the pregnancy earlier this year, Gaz shared a sweet video to his grid. 

In their reveal pose, the couple looked happier than ever as they held up their sweet snaps in the car before sharing a kiss.

A personalised neckerchief on their labrador and toys with Gaz's kids' names on showed that the whole family are excited to extend their brood.

Gaz then placed his hands affectionately on Maia's tummy as they relaxed on an exotic beach, before he pumped his fists in delight.

The Geordie Shore family were quick to congratulate their pal. 

Pregnant Sophie Kasaei commented: '2026, the year of the Geordie Shore babies, congratulations.'

Marnie Simpson posted: 'Omgggg congratulations' while Sam Gowland said: 'Congrats mate.'
