To light the fire in Beast of Reincarnation, and thus complete the "Origin of the Ringing" quest, you must take a long walk through the Pilgrim's Zone, have a chat with one of the rusted golems, and uncover a hidden clue. The fire puzzle is one of the few obstacles in Beast of Reincarnation that can't be removed by the blade, but once you've figured it out, the next Nushi fight won't be far away.

Here's how to light the fires in the correct order and solve the "Origin of the Ringing" fire puzzle in Beast of Reincarnation.

How to solve the 'Origin of the Ringing' fire puzzle in Beast of Reincarnation

Upon your first arrival in the Mountainous Region: Pilgrim's Zone (the fourth map), a quest called "Origin of the Ringing" will begin. After passing through the cave (following the path to the north), you will hit a dead end inside a cave chamber with a large statue, bell, and unlit brazier.

The way forward seems simple; you must light the fire at the center of the room. However, fire arrows won't work here. Instead, you must carefully study the three smaller braziers surrounding the largest one and find the clue hidden somewhere in this room to solve this Beast of Reincarnation puzzle.

The rusted golem at the foot of the large brazier will tell you to "light the fires in the proper order." To learn the proper order, read the "Light the Pyres" document at the foot of the giant statue. The last line forms the fire puzzle solution: "Light the celestial bodies in the order they were born."

Each of the three smaller braziers is adorned with one type of symbol depicting a celestial body, either the sun, the moon, or the earth. Light their fires in this order: Sun - Earth - Moon. In other words, start with the brazier furthest from the statue, then light the one closest to the statue, and finally the one in the middle.

Interacting with the three smaller fires in the correct order shall set the largest fire ablaze. There's only one task left; you must ring the large bell hanging above the pyres. To do so, take the elevator behind the large statue upward (on its left side). Pass behind the statue to find the Belfry Interior campfire. Just southeast of this campfire, you can strike the bell.
