Home and Away star Lynne McGranger has shared her excitement at becoming a grandmother for the first time.
The veteran actress, 73, recently announced the exciting news on Channel Seven's The Morning Show, revealing her daughter Clancy, 34, had welcomed twins with her husband Luke Dickson.
'I became a Nanna last Friday. Our beautiful daughter Clancy and her husband Luke had Stevie Grace and Daisy Joy... twin girls!' Lynne excitedly told the hosts.
'There are no twins in our family! We are all over the moon, everyone who knows – we kept it off socials for so long!'
Co-hosts Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur were quick to congratulate the Gold Logie-winning actress, with both jumping out of their seats to hug her.
'We are so happy for you,' they both said.

Lynne has been waiting to become a grandmother for some time and in May 2024 expressed her excitement about the possibility of Clancy and Luke having children.
'Clancy and Luke have other fish to fry first, but I just want to be a grandparent before I lose my marbles!' Lynne told New Idea.
In August 2023, Clancy married her fiancé Luke Dickson.
Lynne shared the exciting news on Instagram by posting a precious photo of the pair together on her daughter's big day.
The Sydney native sported a focused expression as she looked over Clancy, who was wearing a stunning Diane Lewis Couture gown, ahead of walking down the aisle.
'Getting my baby girl ready for her big day. Gorgeous outfit and styling genius,' she wrote next to the photo.
Clancy is Lynne's only child, whom she shares with her husband, Paul McWaters.

Irene Roberts was initially written as a recurring character but was promoted to the regular cast shortly after Lynne joined.

Her daughter Clancy looks set to follow in her mother's footsteps, as she has often appeared as an extra on Home and Away alongside Lynne.
