Joshua Jackson sparked romance rumors with model Olivia Burgess as the pair were seen holding hands during an outing in New York City over the past weekend. 

The 47-year-old actor, who recently put on a flirty red carpet display with Katie Holmes, was spotted sharing lighthearted moments with Burgess as they strolled through the Big Apple on Sunday. 

The Dawson's Creek alum split from ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith in 2023 and their divorce was finalized last year. He was also linked to actress Lupita Nyong'o but their breakup was confirmed in 2024. 

Jackson and Burgess held hands as they made their way across a busy street amid the lowkey excursion. 

At one point, the dancer also caused the Hollywood actor to let out a big laugh before they continued their walk. 

He kept it casual wearing a pair of cream-colored trousers as well as a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up. 

Burgess was seen in a pair of black and white-checkered shorts as well as a black tank top. 

She additionally slipped into a pair of chic black loafers and styled her locks into an updo. 

Burgess boasts over 15,000 followers on Instagram and is also no stranger to the entertainment industry. 

As a model, she has walked for brands such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Chromat while also appearing in campaigns for companies including The Gap. 

The media personality often shows off her dance skills on Instagram and notably was a backup dancer for Beyonce during her performance of Love On Top at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, per Us Weekly.

And just one day earlier, Jackson was seen putting on a flirty display with his co-star Katie Holmes at the screening of their new movie Happy Hours at the Tribeca Festival on Saturday in NYC. 

The Fringe actor was dapper in a blue suit while the actress was stylish in an ivory satin dress. 

Both Jackson and Holmes previously starred on the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek, and had a short-lived relationship while filming the early seasons of the show. 

Fans were left fawning over the stars as Jackson praised Holmes during an interview on the red carpet.

In a video shared to X, both he and the actress could be seen sweetly holding hands.

'The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us,' the actor expressed. 'And [it] is, like, one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life.' 

Jackson also reflected on having the opportunity to reunite and work with Holmes once again. 

'We had talked about [working together again] over the years, and then – I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit – because then she creates this beautiful space for the two of us to come back and work together and tell a beautiful story.

'A hopeful story, a real human story, and, for me, I was both flattered and very excited to have the opportunity to come back and share this space with you after all of these years,' he added as the two stars looked at each other. 

'And have a story that is ours to tell. Right? You wrote this for us. You did the whole thing.'

Jackson further gushed that it 'was magical' to be a part of the project while adding, 'And you waited for me, which I appreciated.'

Holmes also explained that her 'working relationship' with Jackson is 'sacred.' 

'I take it very seriously, and I want to do right by Josh. I have a great deal of respect. So I wanted it to be right.' 

She added, 'We've often talked about doing something again, but we never knew what. So it was really about that and agreeing to go for it, I suppose.'

Happy Hours was both written and directed by Holmes while additionally starring Mary-Louise Parker, Joe Tippett and Constance Wu. 

The premise is: 'Former sweethearts cross paths years later and rekindle their connection, balancing careers, family duties, and personal dreams while rediscovering what they once had - and what they could become,' per IMDB. 

Jackson previously tied the knot with actress Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019 and the pair welcomed daughter Juno, six, in 2020.

Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October 2023 and the former couple reached a settlement in May of last year. 

After the split, the actor was linked to fellow actress Lupita Nyong'o but their breakup was confirmed in 2024. 

The Odyssey actress discussed being single during an interview with Harper's Bazaar and said, 'My love for my cat is singular. If I'm ever so lucky to be in a romantic relationship again, it'll be because of him. 

'I was ready to shut that door and lock it and bolt it. He has ensured that my heart remains open.'

Jackson is known for appearing in other projects over the years such as the Showtime series The Affair, the Peacock show Dr. Death and ABC's Doctor Odyssey.
