Kyle Cooke Has Surprising Comment on West Wilson's Summer House Return
Beta Blocker Bombshell: Summer House's West Wilson Reveals Reason for His Reunion Calmness
Kyle Cooke is ready for summer to be fun again.
In fact, the Summer House star is so eager to move on from the drama surrounding his estranged wife Amanda Batula hooking up with his ex-BFF West Wilson, he's actually open to the idea of the couple returning for season 11.
"Hopefully we can still coexist peacefully," Kyle confessed to People in an interview published June 10. "I feel like life's too short. Have I forgiven [West]? No. I’m just not the kind of guy that wants to close someone out of my life, particularly if they played a big part in it."
But that doesn't mean the Loverboy founder isn't still struggling to wrap his head around his costars' unexpected romance.
"I’m doing this the best that I can," Kyle added. "There’s no playbook."
Following the June 9 conclusion of Summer House's explosive reunion, Bravo announced fans will see even more of the West, Amanda fallout when Bravo airs an Aftermath special on June 16 with post-reunion updates from the duo, plus Kyle and West's ex Ciara Miller, who ended her friendship with Amanda over the betrayal.
While Kyle called West's demeanor "more defensive than remorseful" during the three-part showdown, his subsequent one-on-one chat with the sports journalist was slightly more productive in addressing their issues.
"I finally got him to own up to some things I needed to hear him say," Kyle recounted. "I was discouraged that he didn't come prepared to be 100 percent honest about everything. He was still lying about his girlfriend [Meija Moreno] and the reality of his exclusive nature of that relationship, which boggled my mind."
However, it sounds like some more accountability may be needed on West's part.

"It was one of those conversations that I was like, 'I don't know what we just talked about for two and a half hours," he continued. "I'm not saying we talked in circles, but maybe I was too easy on him."
Kyle admitted he still isn't sure why his wife of four years decided to move on with a costar after their January breakup instead of someone outside their friend group.
"I think West is no dummy, I think he realized Amanda's going to have this big PR moment," Kyle confessed. "I think he realized it last summer. I think that's part of the reason why he's pulling his chair up next to Amanda. He's like, 'I'm going to be the white knight here and stand up for Amanda because, well, the internet's going to love her and therefore the internet's going to love me.'"

As for his own love life, Kyle isn't looking to jump into anything serious at the moment.
"I'm traveling a lot, so I'm not even really in a position to date in New York," he admitted. "I'm having fun. I will 100 percent be single this summer because I'm looking at my calendar and I'm like, 'Yeah, there's no chance for me to even date locally.'"
