But the American child star will not be coming after all, it was revealed on Thursday, with an upcoming special visit suddenly cancelled.

The tour was scheduled for a date at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on November 24, before heading to Melbourne's Regent Theatre on November 27 and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on November 29 and November 30.
Those dates have all been cancelled, with event organisers confirming the bad news on Thursday.

The special event was open to all ages.
Culkin starred in the 1990 film alongside Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern and late actors John Heard, Catherine O'Hara and John Candy.
Home Alone was a box office smash and catapulted Culkin to worldwide fame, making him one of the most famous child actors of the '90s.
Culkin shot to superstardom after Home Alone became a global phenomenon.
He went on to star in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in 1992, in addition to My Girl, and The Good Son.
Following the release of Richie Rich in 1994, Culkin retired from being a child star and did not act again for almost a decade, finally returning to screens with a guest role on Will & Grace.
