Romy and Michelle are back! Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino reunite on set of long-awaited sequel to 1997 cult classic... see them now
Lisa Kudrow reunited with Mira Sorvino while on the set of their highly anticipated Romy and Michele sequel film on Wednesday.
The two actresses reprised their iconic roles and were spotted filming one of their first scenes together nearly 30 years since the release of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.
After kicking off production for the long-awaited sequel over a week ago, Kudrow, 62, and Sorvino, 58, wore coordinating pink ensembles with matching sunglasses.
Kudrow and Sorvino were reportedly filming a scene where they get out of a vintage Jaguar, which also appeared in the 1997 original movie.
Behind the scenes of the production, Kudrow was spotted walking beside Keegan-Michael Key.
The Friends alum was dressed head-to-toe in monochromatic pink and her blonde hair was styled in a sleek blowout with wispy bangs framing her face.
She carried a metallic pink bag that matched her short-sleeved button-down, miniskirt as well as her pink, opaque tights.

Sorvino was dressed in a pale lavender purple trench coat-style dress.
Her platinum blonde dresses were styled in voluminous curls, and she completed her look with oversize, round sunglasses for her glamorous outfit for filming.
Just earlier this month, the two returning stars shared a photo of themselves on set in directors chairs with the movie title on the back.
The photo was also shared by 20th Century Studios alongside the caption: 'The reunion you've been waiting for! The Romy and Michele sequel is now in production.'
Underneath the post, Sorvino had commented: 'It's finally happening. Bursting with joy to be "reunited!"'
Following the original movie, the project is set to be released exclusively as a Hulu Original via streaming, rather than in cinemas.
If the series is released in 2027, that would mark Romy and Michele's 40th high school reunion.
The new Romy and Michele movie will be helmed by Tim Federle, while Robin Schiff — who created the characters and wrote the original — penned the script for the sequel.

Other stars returning for the sequel include their castmates Janeane Garofalo (Heather Mooney), Alan Cumming (Sandy Frink), Camryn Manheim (Toby Walters) and Julia Campbell (Christy Masters).
Keegan-Michael Key, Rob Huebel, Breckin Meyer, Patrick Warburton and Nathan Lee Graham will also be joining the cast.
Some producers and executive producers from the original film, including Laurence Mark and Barry Kemp, will also be involved again, alongside the original film's costume designer Mona May.
May previously opened up about working on the sequel after almost three decades in an interview with Deadline.
'I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing project to keep the DNA of the characters and design the fashions to be as fun and fabulous as the original film,' she told the outlet.
'Romy and Michele are forever fashionistas, and I'm so excited to be working with Lisa and Mira again.'
David Mirkin directed the original film that saw two dim-witted, aspiring fashion designers take a road trip to Arizona to attend their high school reunion posing as sophisticated businesswomen who had 'invented' Post-it notes.
The nostalgic comedy barely broke even at the box office, earning $29.2M after a $20M budget, but became a beloved cult classic in the years since.

Last year, Kudrow gave a promising update while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show after Sorvino told People that they had signed their deals.
'She said it perfectly. We're as close as we have ever been. There's a script that's really good. [Original screenwriter] Robin Schiff wrote it,' Kudrow spilled at the time.
'So it'll happen! I mean, we'll see. Because having a close friend it's about you know friends that love each other — which is funny because I was on a show that was like that too — but that is basically what it is.'
Plans for the follow-up were first discussed after Kudrow and Sorvino returned to their characters in 2022 to present the Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
When asked what she wants from the sequel, she said: 'I just still want [Romy and Michele] to be as relatable, but also as dumb and lovable as they ever were. Like, I don't think they've learned that much in the time in between, but they still have that unstoppable spirit and that friendship and that idiocy that makes everybody kind of love them.
'And so, that essential nature of them and the heart that's at the center of that, that heart has to stay there.'
