AFL player issues cheeky response after Annie Knight exposes him and other sports stars who have slid into her DMs

An AFL star has responded after Annie Knight sensationally exposed a string of private messages she claims were sent to her by some of Australia's biggest sports players.

The Gold Coast adult content creator, 29, shared screenshots of messages she claims were sent by Geelong star Bailey Smith, GWS Giants midfielder Clayton Oliver and Australian cricketer Cooper Connolly in an Instagram video posted over the weekend.

And in a pointed warning to her famous admirers, the engaged content creator flashed her diamond ring and told the boys to stay out of her inbox.

Annie said she was inspired to make the video following this week's frenzy surrounding Bailey's much-publicised dating life, as well as the recent controversy involving Collingwood star Beau McCreery's father.

'I thought I would out some of the AFL players and cricket players who have slid into my DMs,' she said in the clip.

'Sorry boys.'

First in the firing line was former Melbourne premiership star Clayton, who Annie jokingly described as a 'repeat offender'.

'First up, we have Clayton Oliver … a repeat offender, it's happened a few times now,' she said.

'I've met Clayton, he's a great guy. Sorry Clayton.'

But rather than shy away from the attention, Clayton appeared to embrace the situation.

Following Greater Western Sydney's win over Port Adelaide on Saturday, Clayton shared a video from inside the Giants' changerooms showing teammates singing Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal and chanting the lyric: 'Annie, are you OK?' 

Clayton later reposted the clip on Instagram and tagged Annie, writing: 'Would love to know, are you actually OK @annieknight?'

Elsewhere in Annie's video, the attention shifted to Bailey, who has dominated social media conversation this week after becoming embroiled in a viral dating saga.

Sharing a screenshot she claimed showed a conversation with the Cats superstar, Annie alleged Bailey had reached out more than once. 

'Now we have our man of the moment, Bailey Smith,' she said.

'He has slid in a few times. He also asked me about my friend Lily Phillips. But she's taken. So am I, Baz. Sorry!'

Annie did not stop there, also sharing screenshots of messages she alleges were sent by Australian cricketer Cooper Connolly.

The influencer wrapped up the video by displaying her engagement ring and joking that the sports stars should keep their distance. 

'Stay out of my DMs,' she quipped.

She later disabled comments on the post, which she captioned: 'Sorry boys... but you're trying to cut @henry.brayshaw's lunch... so karma I guess?'

Annie is currently preparing to marry fiancé Henry Brayshaw, the son of veteran AFL commentator James Brayshaw.

Meanwhile, Bailey became the centre of a social media firestorm last weekend after a Sydney woman named Tahlia shared a photo of herself sitting in a car with the 25-year-old, seemingly on a date.

She also shared photos of Bailey posing alongside other women in the mirror of an apartment foyer.

The images showed Bailey wearing the same outfit (a hoodie and sweatpants) on two different dates, posing in the same location, just three hours apart.

'POV when he's planning his future with you and 400 other girls,' Tahlia captioned the post, adding: 'Love bombing should be studied'.

She also wrote 'Three hours apart is crazy work' next to the photos of Bailey posing in the same hallway mirror with different women.

Tahlia also shared screenshots of text message exchanges between herself and other women who she claimed had met up with Bailey. 

Her post was flooded with comments poking fun at Bailey's very active love life, with one user commenting: 'Oh my god. The level of coordination this would have taken.'

'New York is the city that never sleeps. Bailey must be the man that never sleeps cos how is he hanging with 2 girls within a 3 hour timespan,' another user joked.

Days later, Bailey had poked fun at the saga by uploading a photo inspired by his now-infamous apartment foyer mirror photos - except this time he was posing next to a male friend.

He even wore the same outfit that he had worn during his two-date escapade.
