Bec Zacharia selling her Married At First Sight wedding ring - following shock split with groom Danny Hewitt: 'It serves me no purpose'

Married At First Sight bride Bec Zacharia is selling the gold and diamond wedding ring she received when tying the knot with Danny Hewitt on the dating series, following their shock split.

The former reality TV star, 35, shared a clip on Instagram on Sunday revealing she was selling the striking ring and would be donating the proceeds to a worthy cause.

'Guys, I'm selling my MAFS diamond wedding ring. I don't need it, it serves no purpose for me any more,' Bec began.

'What I get for the sale, I am going to donate some of that money to the Animal Welfare League. I think that's important.'

She then revealed what the market value was, adding she would be open to offers.

'It's selling at Simon Curwood for $2,800. Obviously, I don't expect to get that but my DMs are open. Hit me up if you are interested. It's a beautiful ring, it looks beautiful on the finger, but I don't need it so if anyone wants to buy it, let me know,' she said.

It comes after Bec was left 'blindsided' in April during a dramatic MAFS episode where she was brutally dumped by Danny.

Leading up to the big moment, Bec revealed that she was 'all in' on Danny, admitting she could not imagine life without him.

'I am manifesting that it's going to be the best day ever,' Bec said as she made her way to the altar.

'I'm going to hear exactly what I hope to hear and we run off into the future together.'

Bec added that, despite the hurdles the couple faced during the experiment, her feelings for Danny had grown.

'I love Danny. Even though we argue, that doesn't diminish the feelings I have for him,' she said. 'I can't imagine my life without him.'

It was a sentiment that Bec shared in her final vows to Danny.

'Daniel, you're my best friend, my safe space, you make me a better person, you lift me up when I'm down. You're the kind of man everyone wants in their corner.'

Bec added that she knew Danny was 'the one' after getting a ringing endorsement from her family and her dog, Coco, during Homestays.

'I look at you now and I see the man I want to build a life with. A man who has made me see a future for myself that I didn't see before,' she said.

'Today, standing here, I'm choosing you. I promise to choose you every day from here on.'

While Bec believed she would leave with Danny, he broke her heart.

Despite admitting that he had built a connection with Bec during the experiment, her constant involvement in drama proved to be too much.

Danny said that he didn't think the 'up and down' nature of their relationship would be a good environment for children.

He added that the time apart before Final Vows had given him clarity and then delivered the fatal blow.

'As much as it breaks my heart to say this, I felt a weight come off my shoulders, at a time when I should've been missing you,' he said.

Clearly crushed by Danny's words, Bec simply said, 'Okay'. Her voice shook and, despite Danny apologising, she added: 'I don't think there's anything more to say'.

Bec then walked off, taking herself to a quiet spot to break down in tears. Danny, seeing his former bride inconsolable, threw his vows on the ground, before saying: 'That was f***ing brutal.'
