Bleach Officially Returns September 17

Bleach is one of those franchises that keeps popping up, even if it's typically not the #1 anime at any given time. It's a reliable and indomitable story, and the anime managed to reach 366 episodes, a massive feat by any metric. It's still regarded as a classic anime, even if it's not over yet.

Now it's back through the Thousand-Year Blood War sequel, which just wrapped up earlier this year. In other words, Bleach fans are eating well, and the feast isn't over. Thanks to an announcement from Bandai Namco, we know when Bleach will return, and it's going to be sooner than expected.

Running from September 17 through September 25, Tokyo Game Show (TGS) will unveil a ton of big games from massive publishers. One of those is Bandai Namco, and they're planning to show off a ton of new games later this year.

Here is everything Bandai Namco is bringing to TGS:

• Dragon Ball XenoVerse 3
• One Piece Sea Feast Restaurant
• Bleach Mirrors High
• Tales of Eternia Remastered
• Once Upon A Katamari Damacy
• Tamagotchi's Petit Petit Shop

If you haven't heard of it, Bleach: Mirrors High is a brand-new mobile game from Bandai Namco and will feature five brand-new character designs personally handled by Tite Kubo. It's set after the Blood War, and you'll find a focus on Shirane Sanari as well as Shirin Migishima, with other squad members available to choose from. The closed beta for the game just wrapped up, so you can expect some alterations to the build coming up at TGS.

Here's the official description from Bandai Namco: "You can experience new characters designed by Tite Kubo, an original story set after the 'Thousand-Year Blood War' arc, customization features, and original illustrations created specifically for this game.​" You can pick up a limited "original sticker" if you stop by the booth.

Bleach: Mirrors High will include a huge roster, which is easy given that the story has been around for a long time. Take a look at the entire confirmed cast so far:
